Guest guest
Hi Carla, I also have stage IV breast cancer, please contact me direct at tistommy @ ntlworld.com and we can have a personal chat. I am also on Femara but doing something completely different from yourself and feeling great!! Ann-Marie from Scotland From: Carla I am 47 and was diagnosed...in March with stage IV breast cancer with mets to spine, ribs, hips, and right femur. I've had 17 radiation treatments to my spine which helped immensely with my back pain and I've also had two kyphoplasty surgeries to help relieve nerve pain due to two compression fractures to the vertebrae. My other treatments have been ovary removal and oral Femara and monthly Zometa infusions since April of this year...I started searching for alternative therapies ...I have been taking supplements, herbals and vitamins, FlorEssense tea, doing the flaxseed oil and cottage cheese, eating whole foods...I decided to stop the Femara... So far only 2 days off the Femara and I have much less depression and bone pain so I think I have found the culprit. I also believe the Femara is the cause of my elevated blood pressure, which had always run a bit below normal prior to the Femara. I am seriously considering doing away with the medication entirely as the only way I can tolerate it is to take more drugs to counteract the effects and I don't want to do that......Carla, Crystal, MI
Guest guest
Hello Carla and Cancercured group, I am 43 and cancer free. I have been shy about posting, so this is my introduction. At 40 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a mastectomy followed by dose dense chemo AC & T (Adriamiacin, Cytoxin & Taxol). Within 3 months after chemo, I had a recurrence in my same side axilla (armpit). I had more surgery, followed by 28 radiation treatments and 6 months of another chemo, Xeloda. Within a month after this chemo, I had a metastatic breast cancer tumor in my lung. I was offered to be put in a clinical trial for more chemo but declined. Cutting, burning and poisoning was not helping my cancer. I told my oncologist " no thanks " and he said " bye bye " . I went to Healthquarters Ministries in Colorado Springs, CO. to detox and learn their alternative program. 7 day juice fasts every month, 80% raw 20% cooked, 100% organic food. Fruits, vegetables and whole grains only. No dairy, caffeine, alcohol, meat or processed food. Muscle testing was a large part of the program to address nutritional deficiencies. Enemas, enemas, enemas. Exercise, sunlight, rebounding, prayer & meditation. I actually did a 21 day juice fast to kickstart my body in healing. I believe the body can focus solely on healing itself when the energy it uses to digest food is freed up. I take a lot of supplements to address the nutritional deficiencies. Within 5 months of doing this, my ct/pet scans came back negative for cancer. My last ct scan was negative for cancer, too. My disease responded to this program and hit the road. This is a lifestyle change and not a quick fix. It is important to continue this type of program. You are more than welcome to contact me through email. Never give up. Blessings, > From: Carla > I am 47 and was diagnosed...in March with stage IV breast cancer with mets to spine, ribs, hips, and right femur.
