Just read the bottle. Pure flaxseed oil is just that and will say so on the

label. If other ingredients have been added, such as soy, it will say so. I

avoid soy products because of the suppressed downside you don't hear about in

mainstream info sources.

Here is a link to an article that could shed some light on use of soy ...

Re: [ ] ie; flaxseed oil

Please - would some people elaborate on the " downside "

of soy ?

Also - what about fermented soy - such as soy sauce ?

Thanks.

Properly fermented soy foods are OK. Fermentation is the ONLY way to rid soy of

harmful isoflavones.

It's a little easier to believe when it comes from a real person. Anyone

and their dog can put anything they want to on the net true or not. When I

do research, most of what I get is some " information " right before they

being to promote a certain product they want you to buy. Anyone that is

selling something, IMO, is not someone that will always give an complete and

honest answer to questions. That is why I join lists.. where I can hear

statements, advice, etc from actual people. However, I am finding that on

this particular list members rarely post. I only got one response to my

first post, which was basically advertisement to buy something. So there

you go.

Hi,

There is plenty of info on the net about soy if anyone is interested in

looking.for it Here is one web site from my explorations into the subject.

I

made the decision to avoid soy after reading from many different sources.

http://www.nexusmagazine.com/soydangers.html I do not promote to anyone

what

they should or shouldn't do. This is just a decision I made for myself and

everyone needs to make their own decisions.

In attempting to find one's way thorugh the morass of contradictory information

on soy, it is useful to investigate the exact methodology of a given study and,

more importantly, who funded the study.

Hi ,

I agree with you on finding information. I always look for several sources and

also rely a bit on my own intuition. As I said I am not promoting anything,

someone asked a question and I responded to it. The web site I referred to is

not selling anything so I don't think there is any agenda there but you do

have

to always look at the big picture. I am new to this list also and signed on to

see if I might learn something new. I started taking a rain forest herb

about a

week ago and I did ask on this list as well as another one if anyone had even

heard of it. So far there has been no response which I assume is just because

the people reading the posts haven't heard of it. If you got one response

you're doing better than I am :-)
