Guest guest
I dug out some info I got from a holistic health fair when I bought a bag of Goji berries. Here's the website (not MLM!): http://www.navitasnaturals.com/goji-berry.html My paperwork has some extra things that aren't on the site. Nowhere does it say cancer will be cured from it but it does mention some things about the immune system being strengthened, increase in T-cell and white blood cell activity, better mood, etc. I can't see how the dried berries could have such an effect. I think a properly prepared juice is always better for absorbtion. They made a tasty snack but I didn't notice anything like extra energy when I consumed them. I just bought them as part of a raw food diet because so many people rave about them. Sharon
Guest guest
The dried goji berries, available at health food stores for around $13 for about a month's supply, are quite nice. I have them for breakfast everyday. You can also get them online. Posted by: " Judkins " msfitnes01@... msfitnes01 Date: Sun Feb 18, 2007 11:15 am ((PST)) Well said Duncan. I love goji berry juice. But it is just that, a fruit juice. I put all my faith in Zavita to prevent the return of my colo-rectal cancer. I still drink my goji berry " fruit " juice and enjoy many benefits from it. But I don't trust it to keep my cancer from coming back. I do all my own research on the nutrition I use instead of relying on someone else's opinions. I have to. My life depends on it. I do still want to grow a couple a goji bushes in my garden too. Brihgtest Blessings, Duncan Crow <duncancrow@...> wrote: I agree gogi juice contains nutrients and antioxidants. It's not a cancer cure; apoptosis in a test tube is irrelevant. It's expensive by my calculation for a fruit juice. It's a juice like a great many other juices, and no juice is worth 30 dollars for 26 ounces.
Guest guest
yes, the goi berries are quite tasteful, and the literature suggests a small amount goes a long way. i favor the whole berry over the juice, as the processing may be at the cost of vital constiutents. the best price i have found so far is ten dollars per pound, including shipping, on ebay. just in case anyone gets suspicious, i do not sell goi berries, goji juice, goji anything. i am retired and quite well off, thanks to this great country of ours. i was just very impressed with the plethora of pubmed studies testifying to the many benefits of goji juice, and thought it might be an added weapon in the armentarium against cancer. smiles. best to all Re: Goji The dried goji berries, available at health food stores for around $13 for about a month's supply, are quite nice.
