Guest guest
The immune system requires intact cell receptor sites for communication. These can be malformed or destroyed by chronic illness, malnutrition and toxin load, resulting in an uncontrolled immune response. Obviously this is bad, as most of our illnesses, cancer and all the inflammatory illnesses included, involve immune response. The missing factor could well be a few essential sugars -- glyconutrients -- that appear in various combinations in cells and receptor sites. It might be important to realize glyconutrient supplements can be useful in cancer therapy; I think the following is in addition to some of the science, animal studies and such you can search out on http://www.glycoscience.org -- I heard that a small trial using glyconutrients was hugely successful on about 3,000 people who had cancer. Has anyone else heard of it? Does anyone use glyconutrients in any form, even their own " glyconutrient jam " from Dr. Bird's recipe on the web? They really seemed to help when he was having problems after 2 brain surgeries.
Guest guest
I ;used Glyconutrients (Mannetech Ambrotose) heavily for a couple of months when hoping for a clean bill of health re Bladder Cancer. This was during a time when a CT-Scan, which I do not do anymore, showed no cancer present as well as an AMAS test showing no cancer present but a lowly Urine Cytology showing some cancer cells. So I decided to pour on the Glyconutrients and heavily so that the other alternative things such as apricot kernels would be more effective. I was advised the Glyconutrients would 'drive the Laetrile into the cells. Unfortunately it did not and a couple of months later a tumor was detected by visual exam using a cystoscope. As I have reported before, this is no condemnation of glyconutrients but rather my individual experience with this expensive product. The question was asked, " Does anyone use glyconutrients in any form " ...............and I responded. There are those that speak highly of Ambrotose and it remains to be seen if there is a benefit to using it. Joe C.
Guest guest
I felt Ambrotose helped Jim but we used it because the damage done from the tumor, radiation and surgeries caused slowness of thinking and we were told this would help. Also, the radiation causes cells to keep dieing off long after the treatment and we wanted to stop or slow down this process so he wouldn't loose anymore brain function. In this way we felt glyconutrients were an important addition to his protocal. He is taking other supplements to keep the cancer at bay. But you know now, and hopefully you'll pass it on to relieve the suffering of others. By the way cold-processed whey alone reduced cancer tumours in many studies.
