Guest guest
Hi Sue. How long have you been on it and are you treating cancer of something else? And how is it going? I assume you are doing this at home on your own, rather than at a clinic??? Thanks Donna http://www.excellentthings.com Re: Gerson I am currently on the Gerson Therapy Sue ><http://www.gerson.com/store/category.asp?id=1>http://www.gerson.com/ >store/category.asp?id=1 > >This link has a list of Gerson books. Guest guest
Hello Donna, 18 months. I have breast cancer with metastases to liver, lymph and bone. The liver met was there at diagnosis (Sept. 01), bone probably 3 months later. Took 6 months before I started on the Gerson Therapy (March, 02). Also use ozone. I believe that I have considerably slowed the progression of the cancer over this time. There is ultrasound evidence that the large met in my liver has been stable for 5 months and the last ultrasound indicated it was smaller. The small met also seems to have stabilised. Haven't checked out other areas lately. Both GP and oncologist acknowledge that I am doing far better than they would have expected! However my cancer markers have continued to rise since diagnosis, at present quite dramatically. Also do meditation. Added acupuncture, Journey work and NSA since June 03 and AHCC for about 4 months. Have just purchased a Rife machine. I am doing this at home with the support of a therapist who has had experience with the therapy and a supportive GP. This is a full time job for both me and my husband! I am feeling quite strong and in the past month three people have commented unsolicited that I look far better than 12 months ago. Sue >Hi Sue. Guest guest
The Gerson Therapy Handbook from the Gerson Institute (www.gerson.org) outlines the basic Gerson treatment. Guest guest
In einer eMail vom 02.10.2004 23:46:04 Westeuropäische Normalzeit schreibt me2youlink@...: > are you serious? I've read Gilbert Ning Ling, it's heavy-duty > biophysics resting on heavy-duty math, nothing for a non-specialist to > hold on to. Which book are you referring to? yes sorrily there is no version of his ideas available in simple words but this one is acceptable and not expensive: Life at the Cell and Below-Cell Level by Gilbert N. Ling ISBN 0-9707322-0-1, soft cover, 380+ pages, 5½ " x 8½ " $19.95 http://www.pacificpressnewyork.com see http://digilander.libero.it/bioem/correctlay.html for an explanation of his concept > have Gerson's original book. The difference is, liver juice is no > longer available. This may be the CRUCIAL difference. Everything > else that is done today as Gerson therapy IS the original Gerson therapy. one problem I would be afraid of is use of Lugol solution, depending on dose it can be toxic and it can block thyroid function instead of activation of thyroid, I dont understand what Gerson had in mind with the use of Lugol, if you take a bit too much your thyroid stops working but one can counteract by taking more thyroid hormone. Exact dosages of standardised preparations would be necessary. > Charlotte Gerson has added CoQ 10 and cautioned against indiscriminate > use of thyroid hormone supplements (good call! it's absolutely > ridiculous to give it to " everyone with cancer " without assessing an > individual's actual thyroid status) > to say something else to a patient would in many countries be serious medical malpractice and could have very serious consequences, T3 or thyroid extract cures a lot of diseases, the medical establishment does obviously not want to tolerate someone giving away this information. The established definition of thyroid status is a fraud. Another definition is needed, Its a good idea to assess individual thyroid status e.g. by testing what happens after intake of low and increasing dosage of T3. You need to know some details to do that of course. You can easily kill someone by excessive dose of thyroid hormone, and in rare cases someone with a moderate dose, of course individual dose is very important. regards, Juergen
Guest guest
I do not doubt Gerson therapy has worked for many - but I hear it is tough and highly time consuming What I try to do is pick up nuggets of information that make sense - and incorporate those into my life - but without either getting stressed out or spending all my life researching and trying to do what others whoc are better qualified have not achieved yet - find a miracle cure! I had a quick look at CHIPSA.com website What came over strongest was self-marketing (they do not give away much information for free) plus - benefits of low salt - we do not use salt in cooking or on the table Love and Healing Ian
Guest guest
Does anyone know what kind of a cure rate Gerson has? Thanks, Robyn
Guest guest
Charlotte Gerson says it is " very high " .. She also says that, since the lab tests they use are all processed in the US (not in Mexico) that there is traceability to US standards, AND, that despite being offered constantly over the years, no US medical organization has ever come to her facilities and done an actual study of what they do there, and what results they have. She can hardly say anything more, can she. BTW, Dr. Day used a form of the Gerson therapy in her recovery from cancer following the surgeries to remove the actual tumors. Guest guest
re: Does anyone know what kind of a cure rate Gerson has? Nowdays, pivotal studies of cancer interventions are done in multiple centers and outcomes are monitored by independent data monitoring boards. A control is used for comparison purposes, and patients are randomized to one treatment arm or the other to prevent patient selection bias. I'm not aware of any such study method for Gerson therapy, which is why it's among the alternative therapies ... which by most definitions means not formerly tested. I think a reliable cure rates could only come from such studies because testimonials can't account for the number of patients who used a therapy and did not benefit. That is to calculate a rate you must have a denominator. ~ Karl > robyn howell wrote: > > Does anyone know what kind of a cure rate Gerson has? > > Thanks, Robyn > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Has anyone here tried the Gerson protocol? Just curious, as I'm looking at this. I've been treated for cervical cancer conventionally :- I'm taking iodine w/supporting nutrients too. Gerson has iodine included in the protocol too. Thank You SW Washington

Guest guest
Yes, I posted earlier that I am a Gerson Person and that I feel one cannot do a better alternative therapy for cancer than the Gerson Therapy! Guest guest
Thank you for responding. Is it ok if I email you kathleen and privately? This may be off topic. I have a Champion juicer and I'm looking at Press juicer that I need to purchase asap. Juice Factory or Welles Press? Which would be best. I just can't afford the Norwalk at this time. I'm hoping to be able to do the whole Gerson protocol at home. I have a good NP that will order what ever tests I need. Thank you very much for your help SW Washington From: Kathleen Blake <kathleenblake@...>iodine Sent: Fri, May 20, 2011 12:14:05 PMSubject: Re: Gerson Yes, I posted earlier that I am a Gerson Person and that I feel one cannot do a better alternative therapy for cancer than the Gerson Therapy! Guest guest
Hi , I used a Norwalk Juicer. I would call the Gerson Institute and ask them which press they recommend to use with the Champion juicer. Yes, feel free to email me privately and I will answer any questions I can to help. That's wonderful that you have someone who can order tests for you to monitor your progress. You are on the right path to healing! Wishing you the best! Guest guest
I cannot help you with Gerson. Kathleen would be your go to person. She may be able to advise on a juicer.
