Guest guest
Patient Yu had been diagnosed as stomach cancer on Jan 6th, 2005 in Beijing, China. And the cancer had already proliferated to liver and lymph. From Jan 21st to 26th, he was treated using chemotherapy: Paclitaxel (1 day), Cisplatin (5 days), and 5FU (5 days). During this time, his hemoleukocyte quantity first dropped to 4700, later increased to 8700. However, the second enhanced CT report (Feb 21st) showed that the cancer was not under control and became worse in his stomach and liver. 28 days later (Feb 23rd), he was treated with chemotherapy again: Cisplatin (5 days), Xeloda (14 days). But the cancer was still not under control. CEA increased from 25.17 (March 9th) to 46.89. The cancer developed very quickly. The patient felt strong stomach pain and had a temperature of 37.5¡ª38¡æ (99.5¡ª100.4¨H). Please help us to save his life. We are open to any suggestions. We want to know whether it is a good idea to have surgery now? And especially, is there any novel treatment methods or medicines in the United States? We are willing to do anything to save his life. Please help us. Thanks a lot.
