RE: {Disarmed} Biopsies triggering cancer?

Darryl,

I am curious as to why they cannot know the nature of the cancer without doing

the surgery. They learned from my biopsy that my cancer was ER+, PR+, and

HER2-. The HER2- means that it is NOT aggressive, even though I'm technically

" young " because I am premenopausal. Have they done a biopsy on your wife? If

not, how do they know it is cancerous? I don't know that I necessarily think a

biopsy is a good idea because biopsies can trigger metastasis, but I would not

assume anything without one. You guys are in a tough spot, but, knowing what I

know now, I think I would seriously consider an all-out nutritional approach

(avoiding anything that could be potentially harmful to the baby) and not do

anything else until after the baby is delivered. You're only looking at about 4

or 5 months, right? It seems to me that surgery, including the anesthetic,

followed by chemo has way more potential to put the child at risk than any

nutritional/alternative approach has. You also may not know for years what the

true affect of the anesthetic and chemo has been on the child, just as a cancer

patient often doesn't know until years later how they have been negatively

impacted by their treatment. Your situation could be an exception to this, but

I believe that in most situations you have more time than they would lead you to

believe in which to make an informed decision. Do not let them pressure you or

work you into a panic.

Thanks Bruce and others who replied. I'm asking because it is my wife who has

been diagnosed with invasive ductal breast cancer. To complicate things she is

19 weeks pregnant with our third child. The only treatment proposed by the

doctors is a full masectomy and chemo while she's pregnant, the argument being

that breast cancer in young women is generally more agressive coupled with the

fact of increased vascularisation in her breast. They arn't able to tell if it's

estrogen receptive until it's out which seems a pointless bit of information.

The problem facing anyone who is pregnant and finds they have cancer is that

many of the herbal approaches would likely induce an abortion. There is a strong

link between the cancer process and pregnancy. The oxygenation approaches such

as Budwig's and juicing seem the best way to go as they do not attack the cancer

so much as create a cancer hostile environment but not a foetus hostile

environment.

Darryl,

The Budwig protocol would seem to be a very good protocol for you to use at

this point and it has an excellent success rate. It would be wonderfully

healthy for Mom and the Baby. I can't imagine doing chemo while pregnant. I'm

pre-menopausal, too, had breast cancer and it was NOT aggressive. There are

some other really good cancer curing protocols, but many of them would not be

good for a pregnant Mommy.

See the flaxseedoil2 group for loads of good information. Join it, and

read all the files. They contain everything you need to get started and do a

really good job with the protocol. Go to www.barleans.com

<http://www.barleans.com/> and get their phone number and order your flaxseed

oil, whole flaxseeds, and Dr. Budwigs booklets NOW. They will all come in just

a few days. Make sure to tell them it is for a cancer patient as you will get a

greatly discounted price. Order five or more bottles and you will get free

shipping, too. Get to the grocery store and find organic (if possible) low fat

cottage cheese, and either live-culture buttermilk (I suppose yogurt would work)

or live culture sauerkraut (NOT pasteurized!)

Get some organic (if possible) raw nuts, fruits and veggies, and you will be

ready to go once your oil, seeds, and booklets get here.

The " equipment " you will need will be a stick like hand blender (not mixer),

a little coffee grinder that is used for the flaxseeds or other seeds only, and

a juicer. Something to chop the nuts is nice - either a hand chopper or a food

processor, but you probably already have something like that. That's it! It

really is easy, although she will feel like she is eating something all day.

<Smile> If you guys feel like you should add something to the protocol to make

it work better, wait at least until you have the protocol down a bit before you

start thinking about that or you

will be overwhelmed. You don't need vitamins or supplements - just get going on

it. Read the posts on the flaxseedoil2 group and just hang in there.

I had a breast tumor that grew during my fourth pregnancy. It was the size of an

egg by 36 weeks. After much prayer and research, my husband and I chose to do

some natural progesterone oil to stop the cell division (it worked!) and had the

tumor removed at 36 weeks. The baby (now 12.5 yrs old) was fine and I started

juicing and doing colonics. Things went well with no reoccurrence of that site.

It went to the cervix a year later and that was taken care of with natural

progesterone oil again and some high doses of folic acid. We did go to Mexico to

" American Biologics " and I had a 10-day vitamin/detox therapy. It was great!

It took quite an education for us to change our habits but it paid off and all

of us are blessed.
