Popular Alzheimer Drug Proves Deadly

One of conventional medicine's most popular drugs

for dementia also might be one of its most dangerous.

The drug company Pfizer admits that during a study

of 648 patients, 11 died while taking the drug

Aricept for vascular dementia. There were no deaths

in the control group of 326 patients.

Aricept is a drug that is also approved for use in

Alzheimer's disease. But vascular dementia is not

the same as Alzheimer's Vascular dementia occurs

when blood does not flow efficiently to critical

areas of the brain. Alzheimers is much more

complicated.

A much better way to treat Alzheimer's and other

brain diseases is with essential phospholipids.

I have seen phospholipids reverse Alzheimers

autism, and Parkinson's. If you are a subscriber

to Second Opinion, you can read all about these

fantastic fatty acids in my archive section.

I am currently looking at several phospholipid

products that you can buy without a prescription.

All of them make big promises, but I am not sure

which ones really live up to their billing. So

I am having an independent lab assay all of these

products for potency and effectiveness. When I

get the results back, you'll be the first to know.

I âm hoping to have news for you in a few weeks.

Until then, stay away from Aricept. Its small

reward is not worth the risk.

What else is new?

Supposedly there's a saying in the medical field, " The only 'safe' drug

is a NEW one. "
