Guest guest
Hello Everyone, After a month of Chemo, my Dear MIL is suffering in a Hospital bed with serious pain, which she decribes as a Menstrual cramp in her chest area. They've ruled out heart attack, and say it's not a reaction to the MEDS.....BUT, this just started the day after a new type of Chemo was introduced to her regimene. Is that a side of certain Chemo's? She's much worse off after a month of taking the drugs. At this age (87), I really wonder if it's worth the beating her immune system is taking. The tumor is so large down the side of her ribcage, it's inoperable and causing swelling in her feet. She had her lymph glands removed on one side after her initial dx of Breast Cancer almost 15 years ago. She also went into Chemotherapy with a Chronic UTI in which she has been treated with Antibiotics for over 5 YEARS! So, she must be full of yeast too. It's just breaking my heart to see her suffer like this. ANY input would be greatly appreciated. She's actually saying how she's done with trying to fight this with Conventional Meds, and may even give Alternaitve Medicine a try. Pau d'arco tea perhaps to start? I've read it can be anti-fungal also, which is what she really needs I believe. Is there anything that may help shrink this tumor, or keep it in check? Any input or thoughts on this is greatly appreciated. Much thanks to everyone who posts the great info on this board!
