HI folks

I have been using organic tray grown Wheatgrass to help my brother

fight Melanoma Cancer (8 tumours - rib, arm, spine, chest, stomach inner

& outer) Anemia and recover from major spinal surgery. He has been

taking up to a total of 1 full half pint glass per day spread over 4

different juice drinks..the morphine drugs by his own admission are

screwing up his taste buds so he can't taste anything..one of the few

things he can still taste properly is Wheatgrass but he is starting to

hate the taste of it..does anyone know if this is common when using

daily fresh slow rpm juiced Wheatgrass or have any tips for improveing

or burying the taste?...much appreciated.

p.s - These drugs are also making him very constipated and possibly in

dealing with the constipation with lazatives they bring on as a

consequence the loss of invaluable digestive enzymes from the

stomach..I wonder how much of the nutrients from his healthy diet he

is actually getting..if any one has had similar experiences with these

drugs I would be interested to hear or if anyone has any good tips.

The brilliant Bruce at www.survivecancer.net has already reccomeded

vitamin c and Magnisium citrate for constipation and SPES for pain

relief. But I am also intrested in Anemia and why he should suddenly

get it right now?

*the drugs he is on

Oxynorm

Oxycodone

Lansoprazole

Amitriptyline

dicloflex

lyrica

Dexamethasone

Zoton

Senocot

Movicol

Actiq 600 lozenges

Mandanol Paracetamol

thank you x

One of the protocols recommends coffee enema's for pain and I would bet they

would work as a natural laxative too so that would take care of two things. The

taste issue why not add some mint leaves and maybe that would give it a

different edge or some fruit like a bit of lemon or grapefruit? Sorry I don't

have more to suggest.

Seems like a lot of wheatgrass to me. I use a GreenStar juicer and

first juice the wheatgrass and then add other green veggies and you

cannot tast the wheatgrass. I notice at Jamba Juice they give you a

wedge of lemon with your ouce of wheatgrass. Go to Bruce's website

for veggies that he recommends to juice. He is so knowledgeable and

such an inspiration to all. in CA
