Cancer Misdiagnosis

Two years ago this month, I found a cyst in my breast. The doctor to whom I was

sent (Idon't have insurance so went through a county program) insisted that the

fluid in the cyst should be biopsied. It came back from the lab with a

diagnosis of ductal carcinoma. I protested that the fluid was not reliable,

nothing showed on a second mammogram, but he still was certain that I would die

without his surgery and radiation. A second, local, doctor backed him up.

Well, I could not believe him and decided to try alternative healing and,

most importantly, to look at my life in a more conscious way. This month, I had

a thermographic examination in Vancouver, Washington. No trace of anything

amiss was found. I suspect that I never had cancer, but it may have been taken

care of by my immune system; I am very glad that I was not bullied into

mutilating surgery! I hope that my story will encourage people to trust their

own instincts.
