I've read some of the marketing hype and was wondering if there was anything to it. -- Ken, Pookie and Sammy --
Guest guest
Ken; I have experience with green barley powder and feel that it saved my life. In May of 2002 I was diagnosed with uterine and cervical cancer, inoperable and terminal. The Drs told my husband that no matter what they did or what I ate, I would die very soon. I refused chemo but to stop the constant bleeding (that could kill someone if the cancer didn't!) I had radiation for 5 weeks. We had been taking the barley Max already so I did an experiment on myself and found that when I dosed up on the barley green all morning before the radiation I would feel relatively good for the rest of the day but when I didn't, I would be nausious and extremely tired for the rest of the day. While my diet changes periodically from all raw to partially, from vegan to Dr. Budwig's Oil/Protein the one thing that stays the same is the use of my Barley Max. It really improves my energy level. The one we use can be seen and ordered at www.hacres.com . I don't know about the value of other brands.
