The danger of milk products is that there is a lot of contamination in commercial milk products and one must be very careful to get only the highest quality and preferably organic. In my opinion, milk products should be only used as part of a well-planned-out cancer fighting strategy such as the Budwig Protocol (see the " flaxseedOil2 " group for more information). Guest guest
Milk from the store makes me sick. Raw, unpasterized, unhomogenized milk straight from the cow or goat does my body good. I thive on it. From: " emhahn@... " Got another one -- I LOVE milk, but am told by some to avoid milk -- well, all dairy products -- because it is not good for cancer. Guest guest
Greetings, What kind of milk? Milk is no longer generic, the quality and health of the milk depends on what the cow was eating and how the milk was handled. 100% grass fed cow, raw milk contains CLA and has the omega 3 & 6's in proper balance, which is good for your immune system and helps to fight cancer. Grain fed cows have no CLA in their milk and the omegas are way out of balance. Pasteurization denatures the proteins in milk, making it an unhealthy food. Guest guest
From what my Naturopath reckons, cows milk causes inflamation within the body producing mucas and clogging up the lymphatics. She doesn't trust that raw milk as being any different. However raw milk has still got it's compliment of enzymes and all the other goodies that are mostly destroied by pasturisation. In Australia, as I imagine in the US, it's illegal to sell raw milk. Sheep's milk is suppose to be noninflamitory, if you can get it, and if you can afford it. It's by local ordinance in the U.S. I can get it in my community in Washington State. When I lived in San Diego, California, I could get it from Alta-Dena Dairy in Pasadena, California. Guest guest
Greetings, Each state has it's own rules. In Texas it is legal to sell raw milk, provided it is on farm sales only. See www.sandcreekfarms.org for further information. Bright Blessings, Kim > ragman wrote: > In Australia, as I imagine in the US, it's illegal to sell raw milk.
