They make a hole down in your tooth when they remove the nerve that hurts and then they say they clean it out and seal it properly but bacteria can develop in there and that causes your immune system to constantly be fighting a low grade infection which takes away from your fighting off potential infections, cancers, viruses,etc.The gold or porcelin crown has nothing to do with it and the fiberglass posts is ok if you did not have a root canal. The only recourse is to pull it and make a bridge or denture.I have two root canals that failed and two that need to be pulled. I have been hoping to go to Mexico as I have heard people get all the metal taken out for $900 in a much safer way than they do in the US where they will charge you $10k. My dentist wanted $12k to make me bridges. I would like implants but I think they may be as bad as implants and I am not doing anyting until I lick cancer as I refuse to go to my grave with $12k worth of dentistry!
