Guest guest
I have a friend who is dealing with esophageal cancer. I am anxious to gather any and all information as well. I would think lots and lots of freshly juiced veggies...taken in small amounts throughout the day would be helpful...if not vital. jaya deva wrote: Hi, My aunty has gone through esohagous surgery. It's been almost 5 months since the surgery has taken place. Her weight has reduced to 32 kg from 40kg(at the time of surgery). She had no problem for 4 months, She did not take any therapy, doctors suggested to take chemo, but my aunty is not in favour of this therapy. She has some problems - like if she eats food, her stomach gets pulled(and some pain in stomach). She has to take some potassium tablets to relieve the pain. She has vomiting sensation also. Please advise or suggest any herb or diet to take. Or any medicine available in India. If she eats less. she says she wants to eat; but if she eats, her stomach gets full and a strong contraction or pull happens in her stomach. thanks

Guest guest
The cause of cancer is due to a breakdown in your immune system. this is usually a combination of things but big factors are poor diet, lack of sleep, stress and exposure to toxins. Specificaly with the esophagus is acid reflux. Although there are drugs for it, I do not recommend them for a long period of time. there are many things you can do on your own to help with this. Guest guest
thought I would forward my reply to the group as perhaps others can benefit from it as well -------- Do not eat within 2 to 3 hours of going to bed. Remove from your diet caffeine, hot peppers and spices. Remove fried foods and acidy ones such as tomatos. You may want to keep a food diary and see just what is bothering you. It could be only cooked tomatos and raw might be ok. When you are better you may find that you can have these things early in the day without problems. If you do expierence acid, and this often happens after you have gone to bed. Take a 1/2 glass of water and add 1 to 2 TBS of apple cider vinegar to it and drink it down fast. This sounds like the opposite of what you need but it does work. You can also get risers for your bed. These are little posts that you place under the legs that will raise your bed about 6 inches off the floor. It It will hardly be noticeable but will make a difference for your acid reflex. they are called bed risers and usually come in a box of 4 but you want to use just the 2 for the head of the bed only. You can also take digestive enzymes before meals. Very helpful. You can get them at a health food store-best to get the broad-spectrum type. Go to the site Mercola.com and type in acid relflux and you will learn more there. I have done these things in my own home for both myself and my husband and they worked for us. Guest guest
Greetings, Actually get some kefir grains and get the real product from Mother Nature, direct. Much more broad spectrum and much better for the wallet. Bright Blessings, Kim At 08:50 AM 9/16/2006, you wrote: snip > You can also take digestive enzymes before meals. Very > helpful. Guest guest
Liza, Your friend may not like hearing this, but if he wishes to heal from the cancer, he is going to have to stop traveling and stay in one place, concentrating his efforts on getting well. Sad to say, if he does not cease the traveling and settle down to the business of healing the cancer, he may soon settle down permanently and forever. That is, he may die and never travel again. It is one of the hardest things in the world to heal from a Major Dis- ease like cancer while traveling. One simply cannot consistently eat the best anti-cancer foods that way; one cannot get proper rest or proper sleep, and one's digestion and elimination does not function well at all when one is constantly on the move. When I am at home, I have a bowel movement like clockwork every morning. As soon as I travel to another place, I do not have that morning bowel movement, and my bowel movements become erratic. He simply must settle in one place and concentrate his efforts on healing IF he wants to get well. If getting well is not so important to him, then he can keep traveling. He cannot have both. Apologies and best wishes, Elliot > > > Hi, I'm a follower of this group since 2005 when my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer, i tried budwig diet on him for one month but it didn't work, i now know why. Last month a close friend of my husband was diagnosed with esophagus cancer that has metastasized, he decided not to go through any treatment & just waiting for his time, he is a vegetarian all his life & he just turned 60, i suggested budwig diet to him & asked him to search on it, he reported back that its a lot of work, well i know why coz people around him are the one preparing his food & he doesn't want to bother them by adding extra work for them, he travels a lot, reading his email to my husband put tears in my eyes, he is going down day by day, more pain & more morphine, get tired easily, he doesn't have that much energy now when he gives his talk, he is a buddhist monk. i told my husband that so far with my search for cancer cure the easiest is budwig diet compare with other treatments. > > i would appreciate very much if anyone here could suggest something for my friend. > > thank you. > > liza > > p.s. i would appreciate if Olson could give me some suggestion. >
Guest guest
Liza, See my website under construction http://www.curemanual.com Aside from the diet, pay close attention to the detoxes, the cleanses and the pollution avoidance measures. Ask me for clarifications. Guest guest
Edwin, I'm looking at your intestinal cleanse. I did always wonder what a VCO fast consisted of. Thanks for posting it! I'm looking forward to seeing more information on your webiste. Would Okra-Pepsin-E3 by standard process also provide the same cleansing as the Pepsin GI for the intestine? Guest guest
Hi Liza, Regarding trying the Budwig diet for one month with your father, that is not enough time for the diet to heal cancer. Dr. Budwig said it usually took her three months to heal a patient of cancer, even though they often began improving immediately. Some of our members have healed within three months. It takes others longer to be fully compatible with the Budwig plan. It means eliminating every damaging food and life style choice and incorporating every cancer-healing food and life style choice that Dr. Budwig recommended including sun therapy and stress reduction practice. The FlaxseedOil2 group has 8 or 9 testimonials from members who did well using the Budwig plan for prostate cancer. My suggestion for your friend who has cancer is that you give him the link to the FlaxseedOil2 group and let him decide whether he wants to try the plan. He would have to devote his full time to taking care of himself. He couldn't go on traveling as he is doing now. If you join FlaxseedOil2, you will automatically receive a list of testimonials of members who have overcome various types of cancer. The list is only a few of our recent testimonials. Maybe if you send him that list, which includes a member who had terminal esophageal cancer, it may help to convince him to try the program. Here's a link to FlaxseedOil2. Guest guest
I am not that familiar with the Budwig Protocol. Would you please tell me why one has to have C. cheese or quark? I understand flax needs to be with sulpur compounds. Since both of those are milk products, why not use ricotta cheese, yogurt or even veggies which contain sulphur?
