Guest guest
Call the dept of Health and notify them of what you found. The import is likely illegal. No amount of fluoride is safe. It is an aluminum byproduct and does not help teeth. Read the label on many mouthwashes. The mouthwash product " Goodsense " tells you to call the poison control center if you accidentally swallow it. Nice! Use hydrogen peroxide and a toothbrush. http://www.apfn.org/apfn/flouride.htm The impact can be seen, literally, in the smiles of our children. Large numbers of U.S. young people—up to 80 percent in some cities—now have dental fluorosis, the first visible sign of excessive fluoride exposure, according to the U.S. National Research Council. (The signs are whitish flecks or spots, particularly on the front teeth, or dark spots or stripes in more severe cases.) Less-known to the public is that fluoride also accumulates in bones— " The teeth are windows to what’s happening in the bones, " explains Connett, Professor of Chemistry at St. Lawrence (N.Y.) University. In recent years, pediatric bone specialists have expressed alarm about an increase in stress fractures among U.S. young people. Connett and other scientists are concerned that fluoride—linked to bone damage by studies since the 1930’s -- may be a contributing factor. The declassified documents add urgency: Much of the original proof that low-dose fluoride is safe for children’s bones came from U.S. bomb program scientists, according to this investigation. I don't know if any of you watched Channel 5 News last night, but they did an investigation on dollar stores They discovered the Crest, Colgate and other brand name toothpastes weren't the same as from Wal-mart, grocery stores etc. The toothpastes were manufactured in many other countries and are not approved by the American Dental Association (ADA). There was even some from South Africa and the fluoride is ten times stronger than allowed in the U.S. (prescription strength). They're allowed stronger because they don't have fluoridated water (like we do). So if we (or our kids) use it often and occasionally swallow it, we could be poisoning ourselves. The dollar stores declined to comment and a full investigation has begun. So stick to paying full-price at the grocery store and send this e-mail to anyone who shops at dollar stores. For more information: <http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/household/toothpaste.asp> This could also apply to many other items that we buy at the dollar store that are labeled as brand names. --------------------------------- Don't pick lemons. Guest guest
If you have any question whatsoever about the harmfulness of fluoride, just read the warning label on the back of any tube of toothpaste containing fluoride. If that does not do it, I don't know what will. Fluoride is a poision and has its own poison control number issued with the CDC. They do not do that for non-toxic compounds. Guest guest
Something to think about...Dentists also say that mercury in the mouth isn't dangerous. I don't want floride either and unless you research it for yourself you are at the mercy of others, in my opinion...not the best place to be. Warm regards, Carol szukipoo wrote: My dentist insists that flouride in toothpaste isn't harmful and that it protects against cavities. I have read otherwise. Guest guest
This dentist is also going to tell you mercury in your mouth is safe. But if he were to drop mercury, he is supposed to tent it off and call HASMAT. Fluoride is an aluminum byproduct. It is a slow death for the victim. It has to be safe, as is mercury, or the lawsuits would be huge! http://www.apfn.org/apfn/flouride.htm Send him 10 cases of Aspartame diet coke and potato chips every week to him. Cheaper than sending him cigarettes. (All safe products) Mention he needs all his vaccines updated every year, and see how he reacts to mercury. (Another safe set of products) Later, visit him in the cancer ward, if he doesn't die of a heart attack from these safe products. Ask your chiropractor. This man is not your friend. He is an unfriend. Dennis szukipoo wrote: > My dentist insists that flouride in toothpaste isn't harmful and that it protects against cavities. I have read otherwise. Guest guest
Congratulation you know the truth! Fluoride is carcinogenic and so is Chlorine (Bleach). It should not be in anything that we take internally. Now if we can only get the government to take it out of drinking waters. The dentist should not be doing Fluoride treatments on our teeth. Walmart even sell water with Fluoride and advertises it for infants in the baby department. Maybe people will start to see what our government is really doing to use. Guest guest
Fluoride is very dangerous for you! The drinking water that has Fluoride in it is just as dangerous, it is the same danger as when a dentist does Fluoride treatments. Fluoride is killing people! No level of Fluoride is safe! Guest guest
Your mouth is a mucus membrane. Nitro is placed under the tongue to be absorbed immediately into your system. So to if the fluoride is placed into your mouth, it is immediately absorbed into you system. Diane
