List,

I have met with Mark Manhart, DDS who has developed an amazing, simple, and

inexpensive treatment that totally obviates any need for gum surgery for teeth

scaling. This works in even the most difficult cases with mobile teeth. It

consists of squirting a little of a calcium compound under the gums. I have

started two biological dentists using this in their practices -- one is in

Tijuana, the other is in the La Jolla area of San Diego.

Dr. Manhart has been attacked quietly and unmercifully by his profession as

they are terrified by the loss of income. Check out his website

http://www.calciumtherapy.com/default.asp . Perhaps you can talk your dentist

into learning an " unproven " therapy!

Hi,

I'd just like to mention that a few years ago I was repeatedly told by a

dentistry student (he was close to his finals) that the pockets in my gums were

so deep that the only solution was surgery. Well, I always distrust anyone (or

any doctor) trying to foretell authoritatively the future or advising some gory

painful procedure to be performed. What I did was buying myself an electrical

toothbrush particularly designed for plaque removal and further improving my

diet and soon enough everything cleared up by itself ( " impossible " without

surgery according to his verdict). I trusted that the gums would heal themselves

(given a little support) and so they did...

Light and peace,

Ulla

Can you be more specific about the diet part? What did you eat and what did

you avoid?

The only way to stop the progression

of periodontitis is to kill the bacteria

at the base of the deep pockets. Brushing

flossing and the waterpick at best can

only kill the bacteria in the shallow

pockets.

All the improvement you will see using these methods

will be cosmetic. Your symptoms, like gum bleeding

will go away but the disease will progress.

There is an instrment available that delivers antiseptics

into deep pockets.

Hi KK,

Your message sounded so traditional medicine minded that I had to reply.

Dr Schulze (Incurable's Program) has a Tooth & Gum formula that has

cures deep pocket infections. One man who the dentist said had severe gum

infection and bone loss, the dentist wanted to pull all his teeth. He used the

formula ( 4 - 6 drops) in his water pick for less than 2 months and the dentist

said it was a miracle. He did not need his teeth pulled. The tinture costs $20

(Bayberry rootbark, Oak Gall, Tea Tree Oil, Echinacea root, Clove Oil, Cayenne

pepper & Pepermint Oil

Dr Schulze offers free info & catalog by calling 800-437-2362

I ordered his Incurables Program and his formula's are quite strong, some are

down right aweful tasting but his success rate, for me is worth going through

his detoxing incurable's program. I also asked about continuing with the flax

seed oil and was told it would not interfere with the program.

I know two people who used a Bioelectric Generator with a special

electrode for their peridontal disease. In both cases the pain and

swelling was gone in one day. The electrode was simply applied to the

gums in the painful areas for several twenty minute sessions

throughout the day. Apparently the bacteria was killed which allowed

the healing process to begin.

Hi, this sounds like excellent advice already. As far as I remember, apart from

thorough brushing with the electric toothbrush as mentioned, I simply removed

most or all sugar (including natural ones) and white flours and probably

stepped up the intake of healthy things like organic vegetables, perhaps

seaweed etc. I am a vegetarian anyway but I very occasionally get gum problems

when under great stress combined with eating lots of so-called healthy

sweets...

Here is an excellent site for more info on how to keep your teeth and gums

healthy: http://mizar5.com/omedia2.htm

Some quotes from the site:

" When the toxic waste products that are being trapped in 'below the gum line

spaces' are flushed out daily with warm salt water, the body's normal

reparative processes set in and heal the diseased gum tissue. In most cases,

once the gum disease begins to heal, the bone follows suit, growing back new

bone where it's been lost and tightening up loose, wobbly teeth (self-help

healing of pyorrhea). "

" In my opinion the whole thing boils down to one simple fact: The dental

establishment is scared to death that the public is going to realize that the

entire profession has been making a living by repairing the results of a

disease they could have been curing all along! "

They have articles on,

„How To Enjoy Healthy Teeth And Gums - In Spite Of Your Dentist

Three Steps to Acheiving Proper Oral Health (Make it a goal to become 'dentally

self-sufficient' this year.)

Let Your Teeth Heal Themselves

Demineralization and Remineralization

How to Eliminate the Dentist From Your Life "

and much more...

Below is a pretty lengthy Cayce extract on pyorrhea as well...

Tom,

I also know 6 people who used 27V puls generator and cured serious

peridontal infection in one day.

They held electrodes indide mouth.

It was simple device with 3 batteries, each of 9 Volts, with resistor and

with taster.

Every time you press taster, you get electric puls of 27 V.

Each puls was in mAmpers.

Up to 20 min every few hours was enough.

They also used natural antibiotic tincture.

Dr. Manhart in Omaha, I think, has a cheap method of saving loose teeth

and eliminating pockets. Cost $15 as I recall. No diet. A calcium

complex application. He has a website.

Hello everyone,

Eileen,

You said:

Your message sounded so traditional medicine minded that I

had to reply.

My reply:

Using an instrument do deliver a saline/peroxide solution

to the base of deep pockets is certainly not traditional.

In any case I am concerned with what works weather mainstream,

holistic, alterative or what have you. I am not against any

system. One should pick and choose what works for them.

It is very easy to see improvement in gum disease, by

eliminating gum bleeding and inflammation. However if

you do not kill the bacteria at the base of the deep

pockets the erosion on the underlying supporting

bone will continue to erode. Tooth loss will follow.

Agnes,

You said:

They also used natural antibiotic tincture.

My reply:

So what made the program successful?

The electrodes inside mouth or the antibiotic?

Or they have to work together?

It would be interesting to try them separately

and see.

Also how do you judge that periodontitis

has be stopped or reversed? What diagnostic

tools do you use?

Ben,

You said:

As a long sufferer and survivor of gum disease,

Sonicare's electric toothbrush

and flossing have been my saviors.

My reply:

These methods do not effect the bacteria in

pockets deeper than 4 mm.

You continued:

Near the end of my time there, elastic string

impregnated with tetracycline was wrapped

around each tooth and pushed down

into its pockets,

My reply:

Yes this is very effective. But as you pointed out

the bugs return in the base of the deep pockets

and the erosion of the supporting bone further

erodes.

Sorry for being so blunt everyone. :)
