Guest guest
Greetings, I am sorry for the confusion. This is one case where trimming posts has caused a problem. I never used iodine. The information in the 1980s was very sketchy and I would have had to travel to Ontario to get treatment as no one in Alberta at the time was working with iodine. Which is why I said it was very expensive. I now live in Texas and haven't got a clue where to find it. Will someone else please answer these questions? Guest guest
Here are some links to help you get started reading about iodine: http://iodine4health.com/ (I think there's info about the test on this one for sure.) http://www.breastcancerchoices.org http://www.drbrownstein.com/index.shtml The preferred supplement is Iodoral, and you can order it a number of places online. I have been taking 75 mg for 4 weeks today, and it has made a difference, though I wish I could say all the lumps and tumors are gone, but that is not true YET. There's also a very active group called - drum roll, PLEASE - iodine.

Guest guest
-Kim: I am now doing the Budwig protocol and wondered if the iodine wouldn't hinder or counter its results? Its so hard knowing what you can do with that protocol that I don't want to mess it up. n , lynnelalala@... wrote: > > Try _www.breastcancerchoices.org/iodine_ > (http://www.breastcancerchoices.org/iodine) > > >

Guest guest
Frann, I have a 10 cm breast tumor, which is about 4 inches. I have been taking Iodoral for 4 weeks. After about a week I noticed that the skin was " squishier. " I can't really say that the size of the tumor has changed. I am also doing a lot of other nutritional stuff. I saw your question about Budwig. I would do the Iodoral no matter what. I know that Dr. Budwig wasn't a fan of supplements, but this information on iodine is fairly new. There's no way to know how she would respond to it.
Guest guest
-O-Kay : Now you need to tell me the dosage and how to find this stuff. I am out of the loop with stuff like that. I have an MRI scheduled for next Wed 11-1-06 and am sticking to the Budwig protocol strickly, would love to see some shrinkage by then. - In , " King's Song " <melanie@...> wrote: > > Frann, I have a 10 cm breast tumor, which is about 4 inches. Guest guest
Frann, for more info check these web sites: http://iodine4health.com/ http://breastcancerchoices.org/iodine.html http://www.drbrownstein.com/index.shtml I would strongly recommend Dr. Brownstein's book on iodine. As far as where to buy the Iodoral, just put Iodoral in your search engine and search for the best price. Dosage - I believe it's recommended that you start slowly just in case you have a detox reaction. Most people that are deficient in iodine shoot for 50 mgs a day (4 tablets). Guest guest
Fran: We all look for shrinkage, however, shrinkage is not necessarily an indication one is getting well. So, don't fret if there is no discernable shrinkage yet. I'm sure an expert who works with cancer patients can tell you the changes that might be more indicative of healing. Do what you believe is right for you and be diligent doing it. My daughter-in-law underwent massive chemotherapy and had a 60% shrinkage after the second or third treatment. Right now she could be a Poster Child for Chemo and Radiation.
Guest guest
---Am I to assume that you mean that negatively about your daughter? Or did she follow a good protocol before and after and some through all of it great? I won't allow chemo or radiation near my body and I feel wonderful doing the Budwig protocol and will test for iodine and possibly add Indoral to my regimin if I am in need of iodine. I truly believe eating differently makes the world of difference and I know this could be gone with a miracle in a moment but it also may take some time, I don't know which. Thank you for the post.
