Hi

I tried to search for this topic and did not find anything. My

apologies if this has already been asked.

I'm new and I've heard some things about Essaic. I hope someone can

help. I would like to start this as soon as I can, but I'm concerned

too.

Has anyone ever tried this?

Thanks for any advice,

mjd

Hi,

I drink Essiac Tea and know of some people who have been helped by it. What

exactly are your concerns?

Hi

I am mainly interested in hearing that someone has taken this and

feels that it has helped them. Although my spouse is wonderful, I

don't have support on either side of the family. However, I

probably would not be able to talk to them about non-traditional

treatments anyway.

I am not very familiar with trusted suppliers either. I don't know

where to start looking other than to ask people who have experience

with this kind of thing. I'm a bit overwhelmed, but I'm willing to

listen and learn.

Thank you for responding and all the best to you,

mjd

Essiac is certainly not going to hurt you. I know a man who had a brain tumor.

They removed part of the tumor, but not all of it. Sent him home and told him

there was nothing more they could do. He started taking Essiac and changed his

diet. That was four years ago. He is still cancer free.

I've talked with another lady who had mastasized breast cancer to her ovaries

and lungs. She didn't do any conventional medicine. She started drinking

Essiac and organ grape teas. She hasn't been to a doctor since 1999. They gave

her less than six months to live.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer last August. I started drinking Essiac along

with many, many other things. I had four rounds of chemo, which I was scheduled

for six and the tumor vanished. I feel that I'm still in the fighting stage and

can't speak for myself yet. They want to remove my breast and I have refused.

If the cancer comes back, I may elect to have the operation. I truly believe in

a more holistic approach. There are a lot of people out there fighting cancer

holistically. It's really hard to find them. That's why I joined this group,

to find people who agree with this approach and have been successful.

Do you know the story behind Essiac Tea? If you'd like, I could try to find my

research on it.

Good Luck!

Mona

Hi Mona:

Thanks for the personal stories. It means a lot to me. It helps to

hear of real live people who are being helped. I don't like printed

testimonials because one never knows if they are real. :)

I did read a history of Essaic. It was developed by a Canadian nurse

sometime around the end of the 1800s, correct? Or, am I thinking of

somebody else? lol That's very likely with my current brain fog.

I am happy you are striding along in your progress. It is

encouraging to know others are out there and productive and

positive. Please keep me posted on how you're doing.

Thanks again,

mjd
