Guest guest
Hi Darlene and everyone in the group Sarcoma or any other pathology is just temporary, part of the body’s physiological process that we or medicine might have a slight idea of the manifest.  One thing to bear in mind regarding chemo, and I encourage you to explore a little; is that it works well in reducing, but there might be consequences because of the level of toxicity the body is exposed to.   When there is a condition it is reasonable to go to a doctor, but it is important that one doesn’t get overwhelmed with what doctors “supposedly knowâ€. It is important that everyone involved (i.e.,patient, family, etc.) participate in the recuperation process in all levels (i.e., physical, spiritually and psychologically).  Be always alert to what anybody has to say, verify the validity of the information you are receiving, and this will permit everyone involved to feel accomplished. Consider acquiring knowledge on foods and correct eating habits thus our body responds to nutrients to reestablish itself. Remember changes are made by us, we are accountable. Best wishes - Sand  Check out Dr. Burzynski in Houston, TX --- he is brilliant and deals with all cancers. He is an MD who does both conventional (has clinical trials - FDA Approved) and alternative.  Darlene gadoodle wrote: I have been reading posts for about a year now. My 20 yr old son was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma of the pleura last April. He had the 4 rounds of prescribed chemo and CTs remained clear until today. His report shows at least 10 moderate to large nodules in the sub pleural region. The largest is 4.3 cm. This all happened within a 3 month period. Because this is so rare I am having a tough time finding anyone with positive experience using alternatives. Sarcomas act differently than other cancers. There is a lot of fear using alternatives as some things have been shown to cause increased growth. The dr.s are useless and don't encourage him to even just eat right. Anyone with experience in this area that could help me out. I am heart broken right now.
