Guest guest
I plan to call them this week to see what they are all about and what benefit they may be to people like your dad and I. I imagine you'll be doing the same. What suppliments does your dad take and how long has he been receiving treatment before the spread? Also, has he had surgery, Chemo or radiation? good luck! Guest guest
My son is presently bedridden and will not be able to participate in protocols that need him to be transported. I need alternative cures that I can get fast. Benilda
Guest guest
Hello, I am receiving treatment at CTCA north of Chicago. Yes, they are basically conventional but have nutritional, naturopathic support on staff, a supplement store (very inexpensive!) as well as acupuncture. They also have a spiritual support staff as well as a Mind/Body department. I was running out of money and CTCA was covered by my insurance. Alternative therapy gets very pricey and not covered by any insurance that I know of. I am, for the most part, very happy with my treatments there. Have had 6 sessions of chemo that I have tolerated extremely well. An dose of chemo drug that I might receive over an hour at any other major hospital is administered over 3 to 5 days. It makes a big difference in the body's ability to tolerate it. My blood counts were always within a good range. Guest guest
I too am being treated there. The attitude is excellent there. Their support of alternative therapies and integrating them with standard therapies makes them the best choice if you need your insurance coverage to pay for your treatment. Guest guest
, Thank you so much for responding! I am going to the one in Zion Illinois. I have been so afraid of receiving any kind of traditional treatment. I appreciate your response. What kind of cancer do you have? Do you believe your CTCA treatment is beneficial? Mitzi Mitzi, I go to CTCA in Philly. I just got back from there. I was talking to a woman that had what you have. She is NOW cancer Free. She is on maintenance drugs, and is doing wonderfully. Which one are you going to?
Guest guest
Mitzi, Feel free to email me personally on this : nataliemedium@... CTCI is the only place I have seen so far that believes like we do in vitamins, homeopathic and herbs. They are the ones that when I asked to be put on LDN, my Dr. Did it. They treat the whole person not just your illness. You will go for three to four days and they will show you all you have to offer. If you would like to speak over the phone Hon. Let me know as I have free calling and can call you. ((((( Hugs ))))) Let me know what you think when you get back. Guest guest
Cancer Treatment Centers of America was looked into by my Mom in Philly after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and was looking around for an alternative solution to chemo. She couldn't be seen there because they would not except her insurance. On top of that, they would not see her even 'out of pocket' because of the type of insurance she has, Aetna/medicare. That still seems absurd to us. The control the insurance companies have. At any rate, the main cancer treatments they have there are still chemo which my Mom is against. They do do alot of complimentary to chemo things like nutrition, acupuncture, etc but alot of those things are not covered by insurance insurance. And they do offer some of the more innovative cancer treatments like IPT. I would say they are definitely worth looking into and, if you're going the chemo route, they are better than any more conventional hospital. Guest guest
Rose, This is true , as far as insurances. There is one or two that they cannot take apparently. BUT most of the times even if its out of network they work with you and write off what is out of network cost. I know because they are doing that with me and with others as well. It is absurd that one cannot pick and choose where they wish to have care and that insurances are always an issue. Cancer treatment centers has reikie healing, and much more and as I know it there is no extra cost for that . There is for acupuncture as that is not covered under insurance. IPT, I was not aware thjat they did that at Cancer Treatment Centers I do know , however that they are years ahead of other places and they have equipment that are few and far inbetween at other places. Equipment that there are only four in the country! They have it. -- RE: [ ] Cancer Treatment Centers of America Cancer Treatment Centers of America was looked into by my Mom in Philly after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and was looking around for an alternative solution to chemo. Guest guest
It happened to me a couple of months ago in Florida -- the day before surgery I was told to have nearly $20,000 or the surgery would be cancelled. I had just been in another hospital where they told me they would reduce my bill by 1/3 if I paid them $24k in 7 days. My IRA got rocked before the market collapse!!
