Guest guest
I don't know about PET scans but I've told the Urologist that there will be no more IVP or other X-Rays other than the 'forced' Chest X-Ray should I be going into the hospital. Back in the 50s I was told by a radiologist that " you have had your life's share of X-rays already'.....Fluoroscopes too.......and you can imagine how many more I have had and even more recently with the Bladder Tumors. Do I really need to wonder 'why' I might have cancer???? Does it matter if it was my foolish smoking years going back 30 years ago? Exposure to pesticides? I remember Herbert M. Shelton, leading expert on fasting and natural eating, warning about X-raying already sick organs. Of course people want to know about what is going on in their bodies but getting scans routinely sounds like trouble ahead. I think I would allow an MRI because of it being a magnetic approach rather than radiation. Joe C.
