Guest guest
Hi. Thank you Mustang. I have got it sorted now. To recap: What we call paw paw is also called papaya here in Australia. It has giant leaves the shape of maples leaves and has large football sized fruit which some dont like because it smells a bit like parmesan cheese. Every part of it is good, the fruit, the skin, the seeds and the leaves. It is these leaves that Australian people have had so much success with in curing cancer. However the tree Americans call paw paw is not called papaya as well and is a completely different species. Asimina triloba. It is the bark and twigs that seem to be used with this and it is this tree that Jerry McLaughlin has had success with isolating a cancer fighting component and which is now marketed under different names, evidently one of them being Cell-Reg. Thank you. Toni --- Mustang wrote: Hi Toni, New to this group and being a person who is treating myself for breast cancer without medical intervention since 2003. Paw Paw and Papaya are not the same...some regions use the word Paw Paw for Papaya...Since I take Paw Paw I have done alot of research on it. I hope this article helps clear up the difference in the two. http://www.innvista.com/health/foods/fruits/papayas.htm
