Hi ,

I'm sorry that you are having to cope with CLL. I'm interested in

your statement about elevated levels of mercury and lead. Is that

associated with developing CLL? I can understand how heavy metals in

the body could disrupt the healthy functioning of cells. I have very

elevated levels of mercury according to medical testing - and high

levels of lead. It was determined that the mercury came from having

many amalgams in my teeth for years as well as having poor detoxing

ability of the liver. I've now had all dental amalgams replaced and

will be starting on a mercury & lead detoxing program.

I would appreciate knowing what kind of detox protocol you are

following. Also, are you doing anything to support and improve liver

function.

It seems as important to detox and cleanse all that might be damaging

our bodies and blocking normal functioning as it is to ingest

healing foods, herbs and supplements.

[To & other parents of young children, based on many studies

over several years, it seems best to avoid having dental amalgams put

into your children's teeth. They have mercury and other damaging

metals in them that may cause problems for some people. Composites or

porcelain can be used instead. You'll find a great deal of

information if you do a web search.]

the charts poisoned with mercury and severely elevated with lead.

Dear and :

Like you, my mercury levels are speculated as being caused by many

amalgam fillings - 13. I too have had them removed by a holistic

dentist. This is very important as one can become sicker if

precautions aren't followed during the removal. You're right that the

amalgams contain a high mercury content, about 50%, which is higher

than any other component of the filling. It's what gives it its silver

coloring. I think the lead came from sanding and stripping paint off

and old house I used to own. I too had poor liver functioning. It was

explained that the body is smart enough to not keep circulating toxins

it cannot remove and will store them somewhere in the body.

Hal Huggins is a pioneering dentist who believes that leukemia is

caused by mercury. He posits that a very healthy immune system

recognizes the mercury as a threat and attacks it with WBCs. When this

fails it produces more WBCs and so on until it exhausts itself and

collapses. Regardles of whether one believes this statement, removing

mercury, the most toxic non-radiocative metal from one's body is a

real plus.

To improve liver function I was on msm (sulphur) and I think

potassium. These are crucial in several of the liver's pathways for

elimination. Incidentally, mercury gobbles up sulphur and drives the

body towards an acidic state which turns normal cells into anaerobic

cells/cancer. I've also changed my diet. No sugar, more fruit and

vegetables, etc. I also have a FIR sauna. Sauna therapy has been used

successfully in the past by cinnabar miners in Spain poisoned by

mercury. Sweating turns out to be a fantastic method for detoxing all

types of toxins. The skin has been referred to as the third kidney.

It seems to me that modern society has unwittingly done almost

everything possible to guarantee huge rates of cancer by poisoning the

air and water, devitalizing foods, promoting the SAD diet, implanting

heavy metals in the teeth, root canals, over consumption of

anti-biotics, radiation, reductions in exercise and no sweating with

AC everywhere.

Lastly, one can have a reactivity test done on alternative fillings

for the teeth to determine which materials react least for a given

individual.

Sincerely,

So would a healthy person need to have amalgam fillings removed? I was reading

in Dr. s book where she recommended removing them if you have cancer. I

guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to have them removed anyway. Are the tooth

colored fillings okay? Also, are root canals okay?

Remember, if you have mercury amalgam fillings removed you must go to

a dentist that uses methods to protect you from the mercury released

as the high speed drill hits it. This includes oxygen, dental dam,

suction and activated charcoal. It would be advisable to remove them

slowly not all at once.

Root canals are thought to be very challenging to the body as the

canals can never be completely filled up with the gutta percha. The

pockets not filled become home to anaerobic bacteria and their waste

is very toxic. For more information on this you can read Dr. Weston

Price's work.

[Tooth colored fillings are either composites or porcelain and are considered to

be okay.]
