Guest guest
I had low lymphocytes in my blood work done last summer. In August after I began taking supplements, my count was back up. This past December, I quit taking all supplements at least 1 week prior to having my wisdom teeth removed as directed by the oral surgeon, because some herbs can cause bleeding. Two days before the surgery I had another blood work done (without any supplements in my body to make things seem better than they are) -- and my lymphocytes are down again. At least they've agreed to honor my wishes and monitor with MRI instead of CT's as I have already had enough background radiation from NUMEROUS CT's in a short period of time, for 10+ years of background radation. Anyway, just to let you know, I believe the Saventaro and SOD are 2 very beneficial supplements, to be taken on an empty stomach. I also saw something for sale called Thymucin, which contains thymus extracts (an important organ of the immune system located at the upper center of the chest). I have the new supplements, now, which also contain astragalus, a superior TCM herb. However ~ I found a website about Cat's Claw (what Saventaro comes from) being counterindicated with Thymus extracts. Does anyone know why this might be? If anyone has any additional info about why these 2 supplements, or might not work well together, pls let me know: http://patient.cancerconsultants.com/cam_treatment.aspx?id=705 " .... By the way, my numerous liver lesions were 4 mm via CT scan end of August. They are now 6 mm via MRI end of December. The 3 larger ones I believe have remained about the same but may be a tad smaller, I'm going to have to double check those 3 sizes with the former CT. I do know that the numerous ones all throughout my liver have grown 2 mm in 4 months, which means by my next MRI to be scheduled in about April, they could be 8 mm ... Still, no hope of any form of treating being offered or suggested, or guidance regarding managing these problems. They are only intersted in monitoring me ... and everything I try to do to help myself they (doctors) are saying I am huring myself ... for example, I mentioned bicarb of soda in distilled water to alkalize. Liver doctor said that is why I'm retaining water. I'm sorry doc, but I was having ALL these problems BEFORE, and it is only because of the supplemtents I am taking, and the things I am doing for myself, that this is not WORSE already !! I'm going to stop going to them altogether very soon. I am paying high out-of-pocket expenses hoping for treatment and guidance, and all they are doing is monitoring me and DEPRESSING me. Doctors have done nothing but HURT me going on 2 years now. I think they must have no compassion at all. None at all. Becky
