Guest guest
Im thinkin that the budwig protocol has the same rock and a hard place dilemma with the antioxidants and that there are some that are still doing both? Eleena, I think the lady you spoke of is the same one that I have ordered the research paper from, and her name escapes me at the moment but will share it when I get the papers. I have done the surgery and chemo. The thing is the docs told me with a stage IV, Her +, ER-, PR- my only option was chemo for ever, or the three years they preicted I would live. This is the third year and I wonder where I would be had I been doing chemo all this time. So I figure they gave it there best shot already. I heard McDougal MD on TBN state that the outcome for advanced cancer was not much different without treatment. As I have wondered if no treatment at all could be any worse of a prognosis. I do and am ever more becoming increasingly encouraged by the people who have long outlived the prognosis, ie. death sentence dispersed by oncologists that not only leaves no hope, destroys even the will to live with the mindset of the docs must be right, who am I to even try to prove them wrong. I think it is a fear tactic to force people to succumb to " treatment " . I can not say the chemo will not, did not make a difference but I will not spend the rest of my days enduring it. I do tend to think getting the bulk of the mass out does decrease the work load of the immune system. It makes me angry that the in their dismal prognosis, with tears in their eyes give no credence to even the basics of lifestlyle that will make a difference even in a sense of well being. Trusting my physicians is going against the will to survive and what right do they have to destroy the hope found in the basic human spirit, the willingness to stand up against the odds and fight. Not giving in or giving up. That want to stand up and cheer for overcoming obstacles that is the crowning glory of the human spirit. Bit of a tangent there. Back to my point. I am wondering too, with changing, alternating approaches to keep the cancer cells from building up resistance. Years ago I overheard a conversation from one of the docs at the hospital I worked. He was discussing how hard it was on the immune system to not be inconsistent in healthy living choices, like the yo-yo diets. I wonder if that would be applicable to changing protocols at longer intervals, like monthly, tri-monthly rather than the haphazard daily inconsistencies I have been doing. So to answer your question , im not sure how much I am taking. I have seen the EFAs recommended at 2 - 12 gms. The cod liver oil recommended at 2 tablespoons. The capsules I am taking 3 or 4 about 3 times a day. I think I am going to start cutting open the capusles though and just taking the oil straight and will try to do the same for the powder. A note too on gaining weight from the fat. The good fats actually promote weight loss and there are more technical explanations as to why. It is almost comical if it were not so sad as my biggest skeptics of going alternative, will eat bacon, and duncan hines cake mixes but avoid olives and avacodas like the plague. A note on olives, the ones from like the refrigerated bars at specialty grocery stores are the best as the canned olives, much to my dismay have high levels of acrylamide, the killer stuff in french fries and chips. I do have work to do. Donna
