Guest guest
Gubi: I am so new at all of this and have not even begun the teas yet. I am just taking this one day at a time and letting the Lord lead me to each thing. I did however find out yesterday that Vita C( my company carries it in non acidic form a@ 4000mg per tsp) is another alternative taken at 15,000 mg per day. I've added that since its so easy for me to get. Anyone know about orange juice and the acidity of it? I am determine to alkaline my body and am doing a good job (could be better) but I don't know if orange juice would raise my acid levels again. Thanks for the info. A good source for pau d'arco is Roeger DeLongs' tea (www.pau-d-arco.com) I like pau d'arco very much especially when strongly brewed. Guest guest
Here is a product I highly recommend, it was originally recommended by my physician here in Orange County and no, I don't sell it. Its called Vitality C & comes in powder form. Mixed with water or juice, it makes a non-acidic, neutral Ph vitamin C drink. 1 slightly rounded tsp supplies 4000 Vitamin C (L-ascorbate C crystals with FASM) and 2000 mg GMS Ribose. The bottle says: " L-Ascorbate C crystals with FASM a uniquely Fully Attached Sodium Molecule, are buffered at a non-acidic, neutral pH. This eliminates or greatly reduces, the usual intestinal distress that occurs in some persons taking large amount of Vitamin C. Guest guest
The first person Dr Cornelis Moerman treated for cancer was told to eat as many oranges and lemons as he could. He ate them by the truckload and was cured of cancer - not just the vit C but also the citric acid is 'beneficial for blood flow' (don't ask me to be more precise, really don't know) - how this relates to the acid-alkali balance question I also don't know. However, I have heard warnings that vit C is not to be combined with Budwig protocol. If anyone has info on that I'd be interested. She believed that they can interfere with the effectiveness of the nutrients in the foods. There is evidence that high levels of antioxidants do interfere with the healing effects of the diet, so high levels of vitamin C could be a problem and cancel the positive results the diet can bring about. Foods with vitamin C are all right to include - but not supplements, which are man-made rather than natural. Ideally, the diet should be followed as closely as possible to get the improvement that happens for so many people within the first few weeks.
