Guest guest
Hi Duncan, Thanks for this bit on Dr. Enig, Dr. Udo Erasmus and all the dis-mis-information on lipids. They are valuable to know. The greatest expert on Fats and Oils in Germany was Dr. Johanna Budwig who broke all the initial ground reference fats and Oils that we know today.Even Udo Erasmus, Ph.D., acknowledged her greatness and later reversed his opinions when he entered the commercial market, so it seems. To get her message out, Dr. Budwig wrote several books for lay people because her message was boycotted by the Pharma-Chemical_Medico Cartel and the Food Processors. Unsuccessful attempts were made to bribe her, threaten her, take her to court ( she won 7 out of 7 lawsuits) and discredit her. She was found with head injuries, after 12 hours, from a fall in her home while aloneon Novemeber 28, 2002, and died on May 19, 2003 at age 96. It is sad to lose such a great pioneer who united the era of Dr. Otto Warburg/ Max Planck, etc., to our times. Dr. Budwig discovered the delivery system so sorrily needed today to get Omega 3 into our blood stream through an ingenious method of combining Flaxseed Oil ( the greatest source of Omega3 in the plant kingdom) with sulferated proteins(amino acids) found in organic/homemade/ low fat quark/cottage cheese or yogurt. Her Solar-electro-proton message is fascinating. She has written 12 books but only two are translated into English, and all the rest are scientific works in German. The two books in English are: Flaxoil, As A True Aid against Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer, and Other Diseases, " and, " The Oil-Protein Diet Cookbook " . We owe her a great debt for her foresight... Dr. Budwig is easy to read and right to the point. Besides having several Ph.D.,s she had a clinic where she treated and saved countless terminally ill cancer patients and some ewere at " Death`s Doorstep. " In other words, she is both practical and theorectical. If anyone hasn`t read her excellent books , they are in for a great education in alternative medicine and a system that actually works without side effects. You can buy her books from the usual Internet sources , like Amazon, and Nobel, Good Health foodstores or direct from Barlean`s. Organic Oils at 1-800-445-3529. Barlean`s has the lowest cost of all. Good luck and good reading, and a Happy Dr. Budwig New Year to all in 2004 , A Cheery Ciao for now, Mike Cinelli P.S.
