>I usually do some rounds, then I stop, and do it again, many times

Thanks again. Big hug. Ross.

Of course that's okay! You might find it difficult to achieve zero on

something like your concern or worry because those are normal and

appropriate, so reducing those it to a one would be great! You may

be more likely to achieve a rating of zero on something like your

fears though? Does that make sense?

hi everyone,

just talk to a niece, she found out she has a nodole in her breast but she

doesn't know if its maglinant or not, we suggested not to biopsy.

now is how to find out if its malignant or not, any test she needs to do to

find out? any suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi Liza,

If she has insurance, she can get a Pet-scan or CT-scan, or both. They are

pretty definitive.

In a regular x-ray, they can pretty much tell if it seems to be cancer, but I

think it's not definitive. There are usually little specks of calcium deposits

in the case of cancer.

Or, if she wants to go a more " natural " route, she can get a thermography. She

would have to search to see if there is a doctor that does it in her area and

its not generally covered by insurance. They are also not definitive, I think.

These are the diagnostic scans I have had, anyway. I also had a biopsy which

confirmed breast cancer, but that was before I heard that biopsies can help the

cancer spread by poking a hole in the protective covering that surrounds the

nodule.

Liza,

Go to _www.breastcancerchoices.org_ (http://www.breastcancerchoices.org) and

look at the FAQ on IMAGING for diagnosis.

There is also a BIOPSY FAQ on alternatives to the common needle and core

biopsies.

Dawn,

Needle biopsies are invasive and may seed off cancer cells if there is a cancer focus there. So I would research the procedure. See http://breastcancerchoices.org/faqbiopsies.html

If it were my breast, I would try 50 mg of Iodine and a dab of progesterone cream for a month. Of course, I would include the ATP CoFactors and the companion nutrients. Then I would get the ultrasound. Insurance may not pay for two ultrasounds.

Just my opinion. Please let us know how she does.

my sister has just had a mammogram come back with a suspicious nodule on right breast....she is set for an ultrasound and i guess possible biopsy...there is no history of breast cancer but she does have implants...i am wondering if i can get her to start iodine how long has it taken some of you to start to see breast nodules shrink....her thyroid looks good but she takes just a tiny amount of armour (30 mg per day) to keep things right...doing that her numbers look good with FT3 and FT4 upper range and TSH about 1.....feels like her thyroid is good..has energy and brain fog faded away with the small amount of NT ..she already takes some of the nutrients like magnesium and selenium...but has not been interested in iodine...want her to put off biopsy if ultrasound shows need for a few weeks maybe till she has some time on iodine..and should she just jump off and take 50 mg right away?? i started it out

gradually to avoid feeling badly...any ideas??

I am in the same boat. I have a mass.well, two of them.

It came on very quickly and about the size of a golf ball, and I check my breasts often.

Since asking tons of questions, here are some things I've learned. Not saying all are for sure, but here they are:

Thermography may be a better option- no radiation and does not smash the breast. Can also detect cancer years in advance

Even if the thyroid levels come back normal, doesn't mean they don't need iodine. Some say you can apply 2% iodine to the stomach or upper arm and if it dissolves before 24 hours, you may be low on Iodine, but better yet, there is a kit people are getting that they say are more accurate.

Many women are low on vitamin D as well as too much estrogen which can also lead to lumpy breast and/or higher risk for breast cancer

Avoid sugar- it feeds on cancer- many follow budwig diet with good results

Get 15 minutes of sun everyday best around 12-1

Magnetic Pulser- as recommended by bob beck (look him up on youtube) recommends the Sotainstrument so you may want to look into that too. I have been applying it right on the lump, but you can apply it anywhere in the body and it's supposed to help kill parasites too.

But the best thing I heard was that 80% of the time the lumps are benign.

And last, here is a new article from LA times on mammograms http://www.latimes.com/features/health/la-he-breast-overdiagnosis17-2009aug17,0,5184447.story?page=1

"Dr. Winer, director of the breast oncology center at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and chief scientific advisor for G. Komen for the Cure acknowledges that messages about mammography may need revamping. "As painful as it is to admit, we have oversold mammography to the American public," he says. "ly, I don't know what to do with this. On the one hand, I don't want to push people away from mammography, but I don't want to encourage them to have misconceptions about mammograms either."

Again, some here may disagree with some of the things I have posted, but this is what many have told me several times when I asked the same questions you are.

Oh yeah, one more thing I learned is that:

If it moves around, most of the time it's benign, but there are a few people I spoke to who had one that moved and it was cancer.

If there is pain, that is supposed to be a better sign too, but again, not always.

I am currently dealing with bc. I tried iodine and a natural approach for two

months and my tumor grew 1 cm. My advice is to understand the root cause of the

cancer and treat the root cause along with taking iodine. My root cause was

adrenals - high cortisol. I pray your sister does well...if caught early and no

lymph node involvement, things go a whole lot easier! Praising Him, Joanna

Breast cancer, like all cancer, is simply fungus. Iodine is antifungal, as are a

number of other substances, such as Burdock root, Cat's claw, Pau d'Arco,

Tumeric, Barberry, Graviola, Oleander, and Red raspberry. Look up

www.altcancer.com for some excellent antifungal/anticancer remedies, such as

their Cansema tonic.

adrenals/high cortisol is a symptom! I had this also--high adrenals 4X

on saliva test and low 4X on 24 hr urine. I got relief from cortef 5mg

4X a day, but I was also very iodine deficient, now taking 100mg a

day. IMO the " root cause " is actually iodine deficiency.

Hi - Here is another suggestion that is antifungal. Acidophilus is great - I recommend Enzymatic Therapy pearls (no milk, corn, wheat, yeast, gluten, preservatives). I have used to get rid of vaginal yeast infections.

I agree, at least in part, with . It's a misunderstanding to say that the "root cause" was your adrenals, cortisol per se does NOT cause cancer, but fungus grows well in a high cortisol environment because it increases blood sugar (check this out).
