If money's not an issue, I would use Ascor L NC (vit. C from cassava) from

http://mcguffmedical.com/images/pdf_Files/2006Catalog.pdf; 800-854-7220)

I believe that BioImmune.com (They've had amazing success w/their IV vit.

C-based protocol), if one uses such non-corn-derived vit. C, the cancer

doesn't develop a resistance to the vit. C.

The following are notes I've compiled/things I've heard. I have NO medical

knowledge and am giving NO advice.

Don't put vit. B-12 in the IV drip if patient has mercury in body. Vit. C

drips indirectly help remove mercury (Huggins, DDS, 2002)

I PERSONALLY would request very-high-dose IV vit. C given over a period of

many hours (but I'd start out w/a lower dose and work my way up; see email

posted below).

injections of.vitamin B12, (.1000 micrograms) [but see caution above], which

forms cobalt ascorbate.or in combination with.vitamin K3, though K1 is also

efficacious.and Lipoic Acid (300mg oral, twice daily). Lipoic Acid recycles

the Vitamin C.Counter indications.include.kidney failure.iron overload.The

very large doses should also be built up to gradually over some days to

establish good tolerance, starting at 15 grams for 1 or 2 sessions, then to

50 grams and, if necessary, to 100 grams..To avoid the well-documented

Rebound Effect.this treatment should not be stopped abruptly. Patients

should be gradually weaned off it over a period of weeks...and oral vitamin

C therapy should continue indefinitely and on the days in between the IVC

infusions "

[ ] anyone know a source of ready made IV C?

> My friend's oncologist, a conventional doctor who only does chemotherapy

and has never done IV vitamin C before, has agreed to treat my friend with

IV Vitamin C, because he's too exhausted from chemo to do any more for a

while. This is awesome good news, because he would've had a hard time

paying for Vitamin C therapy without insurance, but this is covered if his

doctor does it. The doctor has asked us to find a source of the IV C. Dr.

Cathcart's website lists a vendor, but the vendor informs me they only sell

the materials and the doctor must mix the liquid himself. Well, this is not

going to happen, he's a conventional, busy oncologist seeing patients at

three big hospitals, and doesn't have the time to play in the kitchen. So,

does anyone know a vendor who sells ready made IV C bags? The doctor has a

license and can order it himself, we just don't know where to get it. I

plan to make this inquiry of other local IV C practitioners (SF Bay Area),

but maybe someone on this list knows something. Thanks,
