Guest guest
[i'm not certain this is an appropriate posting, so if it's wrong, please let me know I won't do it again.] Yesterday, we took my mom to the hospital to have her lungs drained. She has lung cancer and she's had trouble with short breath and feeling bad for a while. They put a tube into her lungs and they drained out 2 LITRES of fluid from her. That's the equivalent of one of those huge plastic bottles of pop that she's been carrying around inside her..!! This morning, she surprised us all when we found her in the kitchen, standing, making pastry, being very active. She was ironing things last night as well. It's a big weight off her. I find it very encouraging and I sure hope it means good things ahead for her. She says she is determined to fight it to her last breath. -LL2 Werewolves - scary on the outside, sweet on the inside

Guest guest
My father had same problem, lung lining cancer. fluid builds up and presses against lung. Had pain and reduced breathing. Needed it drained regularly.
