My wife & I joked about it a little this morning, when we woke up she said something about the fact that " we're still here " and I said " yeah, unless we're in heaven, but then if we were in heaven, the alarm wouldn't have went off. Our only salvation would be if the winds were offshore. There is also one 80 miles to the west and another in Vermont. Diane - I'd better not say anything about kissing your neck but I hope everything works out for you. Jan - I may invite you up in January when the temps get below zero. I wonder if you are the cause of global warming :-) I just got back from a seminar at Dartmouth College on grounds maintenance and tree care. Guest guest Posted November 1, 2001 Report Share Posted November 1, 2001 I just take it day by day..I remember a time I would have never even noticed the moon and now I find myself looking for it..I have learned to appreciate things more now also and try not to worry..I know I can't help it if some fool puts Anthrax in my mail..I didn't ask for it and if it's my time to go then it will happen regardless if it is terrorists or natural causes...I think if I had a choice of how I would die it would be in bed with a smile regardless of the age or the married or unmarried partner....Oops time for me to get off before I start saying naughties again... I still plan on dying by gunshot wound, shot by a jealous husband when I'm 95. We live in a hostile world, full of dangers. Disease, accidents, violence, etc. I guess that's what makes the good things in life more precious. Maybe this is a good wake-up call to appreciate the beauty around us, family, good friends, a beautiful sunset..
