Guest guest
First I would get Joanna Budwigs book and read it and go on her menu for breast cancer patients, I am not faithful with it fully but I have to tell you the cottage cheese mixed with flax oil and then whole flax ground up with fruit gives you energy and all around well being. Organic and juicing is the next thing I would recommend also this book by Quillan Beating Cancer with Nutrition should be on everyones list. I opted out of ANY surgery and feel the best I have ever and I just started IV C and so far so good I was able to do 50grams with no problems. I also do vitamin c on my own they are 4000mg crystals in 1 tsp in between and I am up to around 15K easily. I try to faithfully do that daily. Hope this helps you some. Nutrition is so key here.. I have chosen to stop the chemo. the onc wants me to go on Tamoxifen as the cancer they took out was ER +. I am interested in alternatives to the Tam. I am 53 years old. Has anyone gone the alternative route after mastectomy? I feel in my gut the chemo was enough. I do have a family history, my mom and three maternal aunts breast cancer. I was the first to have chemo. They were all postmenopausal. I have not had my period since Nov 05, so probably will be menopausal this coming Nov. I am interested in going forward with no side effects and living my life with JOY and disconnecting from all these crazy medical experiments. They are dealing with science, trying to replicate results, when we all know not everyone is the same. My family is not happy with me, as they want me to follow the dr's suggestions. Help! Does anyone have any info? I know all about Dr. Day, etc. Just looking for some average people who have not written a book and making money off of it that have gone through taking charge of their health. Anyone out there? Blessings to you all.

Guest guest
I wouldn't be surprised that its the milk cheese and soy..That is what I believe are the dangers of vegetarian. Vegetable alone are better than what we put on it. Guest guest
When things seem so mysterious...I'd look at the emotions...Why was she so adept at eating organic? Was she already fearing that she might get cancer? Its the thought ..in her mind...the fear...that created it....so just as easy as it was created...can it go away. Placebos work...faith healing works for some... why .? because the mind believes it..there is much power to that grey matter. The harder she was trying to avoid cancer the more the thought of it was in her head. That is why depression kills..too much negative thought. Replacing it with fun..love ..laughter...forgiveness..and trust. I have seen a women with over twenty years of shoulder pain melt away when she realized that it was over guilt of not moving in with her mom after her father died. She had left to marry and live with her husband . The heaviness or guilt was the memory of her slinging the bags of clothes over her shoulder when she helped her mother move. She realized that her mother recovered much quicker on her own and she was better for her decision. She didn't need to punish herself for it. So her shoulder pain went away...after holding it for 20 years. Humans are so good at creating their own problems. I think that realizing how unreal it is..can reverse her problem lina Dorothy wrote: she's not completely, vegetarian, she eats a little poultry and fish, but she has never eaten junk food and buys mostly organic

IsaLean Shake or Soup—2 servings a day as meal replacements (preferably in place of your morning and evening meals). Mix 2 scoops with 8 oz. of purified water and blend. 1 Sensible Meal (400-600 Calories) Choose low-fat, high-fiber, whole foods (see Menu Ideas , p. 18). Every Day Water—As a general guideline, drink at least 8-10 eight-oz. glasses of purified water daily. For a truer approach, drink at least half your body weight in ounces daily. For example, if you weigh 160 pounds, drink 80 oz. of water. On Cleanse Days and when exercising, increase this amount. Proper hydration supports the elimination of harmful impurities and helps your body to function more efficiently. Natural Accelerator Capsules—Take 2 a day (preferably 1 in the morning and 1 at noon). Exercise—At least 20 minutes daily. Days 1-2 (Cleanse Days) Cleanse for Life—Take 4 oz. (1/2 cup) 4 times daily (1 capful = 1 oz.). Add to at least 8 oz. of cold purified water. For added taste and energy, sprinkle a sparing amount of our electrolyte drink, Want More Energy?, in your Cleanse for Life drink. Note: You may prefer taking 4 oz. straight, followed by a large glass of water. Isagenix Snacks—As needed, up to 6 per day. Take 1-2 every few hours between your Cleanse for Life servings. If you must eat a little with each Snack, try low-calorie, whole foods- (see Snack Ideas, p. 18). Guest guest
[ ] Re: alternatives to tamoxifen > That's what everyone says but my grand'daughter has been a health conscious vegetarian all her life and yet she still got breast > cancer and I have never been a healthy eater and smoked and yet i am in better health in my 80's than her in her 40's, how does > that work? > Dorothy > 1. You were born at a time where the world had much less poisons in it and much greater nutrient value in the foods you eat as a child when your body was building a foundation for life. 2. You received hardly any vaccinations as a child. 3. You did not take antibiotics throughout your childhood. 4. You passed on damaged genes to your daughter due to smoking and poor eating habits and she passed them on to your grand daughter. She was at much greater risk fresh out of the womb. 5. Vegetarians tend to eat many junk carbohydrates and processed foods which feed disease. 6. Excercise was much more common when you were a child. 7. Air pollution was much less when you were young. 8. Foods today are filled with chemicals and drugs. 9. Grains today are stored in silos and subject to huge amounts of cancer causing mold and mold byproducts and foods in general are not as fresh as when you were young and they came straight from the local farms. 10. The use of mammograms and other dangerous diagnostic procedures today can cause breast cancer. You were not exposed to them back then. 11. Exposure to cell phones, microwaves and other forms of radiation today is huge. 12. I could go on and on with more points but you get the idea. Anyway, my point is that cancer is not some mystery. Dig deeper and things will start to make sense. Also, many smokers die very young from many kinds of cancer. Just because you lived a long life does not mean your insides are healthy and well. You would have felt much better throughout your life without the cigs and perhaps you may have lived longer as well. You would not have exposed people around you to second hand smoke which would have been a positive thing. Most importantly, the health of your genes would have been greater and the womb your daughter was born in would have been less toxic and stressful if you eat better and did not smoke (assuming you did when you were pregnant). Again, this would have improved the health of your daughter and depending on how well she lived could have impacted your grand daughter's health and chances of getting cancer.
