Guest guest
You, and enough other people do that and we will have four more years of the Bushes. Hell, Bush is " for less government " and free markets. Free markets? That's what is sending our jobs overseas, starting with the manufacturing jobs and now the white collar jobs. Free markets? That is control of the markets by the corporations themselves and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to look around and see what the fruits of that is. Regulation of corporations is an absolute requirement in order to stop and reverse the slide into Aristocracy for the rich and serfdom for the middle class that is being led by the Shrubs. Corporations use the things that have been set up to serve We the People, the true government of these United States. I am speaking of the infrastructure. The power grid which uses the people's rights of way, highways, money that is printed at government expense, the courts (over 60% of the U.S. judicial system is used by the corporations), our land, our water, our air in the conduct of their business That makes them responsible to We the People. Now, with the new energy bill, they don't even have to pay royalties to the owners of the natural resources. That's right, the energy bill eliminates royalties being paid to We the People. That's free trade! Don't you pay any attention to history? Over and over and over again it has been proven that, left to their own devices, unregulated big business has proven itself to be untrustworthy and such unregulated business invariably leads to fascism (which, by definition, is corporate control of the government) and feudalism. It's the fox guarding the hen house. As i see it, the most important thing we can do is to get these thugs out of the White House, out of our government, and out of our lives. I don't care which Democratic candidate wins the nomination, i am going to support him or her (except if it's Leiberman, of course). I am a liberal. Some would like to make me ashamed of that. I'm not! I read the definition of " Liberal " in the dictionary and i am proud. I look at what Liberals have done for this country and i am proud. It was the Liberals that in fact created this country. The conservatives wanted to remain an English colony. The American Revolution was a war against free trade! The Boston Tea Party was held not because of a tax on tea. It occurred because the tax on tea was eliminated -- an act that would ensure a tea monopoly for the British Ease India Company and put American tea merchants out of business. During times when Liberals have been in power, the standard of living for us mere commoners has been high. When Conservatives (and believe me, Libertarians are conservatives) have been in power, the standard of living for rich folks has been high and that of us commoners low. Just look around at what is going on RIGHT NOW if you don't believe it. The only true Liberal running for President is Kucinich. The only two people running for President who are not, at least in part, owned by corporate Amerika are Dean and Kucinich. Dean bothers me. He is an M.D. and i fear what he would do to alternative medicine were he elected. We can see right now what Bush would do. He has shown quite clearly that he owes big Pharma big time for its campaign donations, and is more than willing to pay them back at the expense of We the People. Let me repeat, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT WE GET RID OF THE CRIMINALS THAT CURRENTLY INFEST OUR GOVERNMENT!!! Splitting the anti-Bush vote is the surest possible way to guarantee that the U.S. becomes an Aristocracy with We the People serving as mere serfs. I am supporting the Kucinich campaign just as long as there is a Kucinich campaign. If his candidacy fails, i will support any of the Democratic contenders -- except Leiberman, of course -- in order to throw these bums out. >I recommend to you to vote for candidates in the >libertarian party. I don't know how familiar you are >with their stances on various issues, but it would be >worth a look for you. They are all for less government >across the board. They believe in free markets and ..... -- Neil Jensen - neil@... - http://www.sumeria.net/bushknew/ " If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier... just as long as I'm the dictator....
