Guest guest
The feelings you express, seem similiar to my own, when my estrogen was elevated. And as a rule, five days on DIM, will generally show some improvement for me. So I am confused and perplexed. You might stop taking DIM for a few days and see how you feel. I play with DIM and watch my nighttime erections, and adjust the dose. kind regards david > > Guys please forgive me for posting so much and at times not clear but > I would like to think you understand my situation. Guest guest
Yo, thanks for explaining what DIM does do, I feel that way too about DIM converting estrogen to all good estrogen, and have set out on a journey to only use DIM, I may have to take ten pills a day, but DIM I think is the healthy way to go. I am not familiar with health benefits of arimidex, and there may be many. I have read, medics are finding estriol, a good estrogen will help immensely with breast cancer patients. The euro docks will not prescribe our horse hormones, but insist only in prescribing estriol. sometimes I think we here in the us, are money driven, under the guise of healthy ways. just my personal opinion. kind regards david > > > Guys please forgive me for posting so much and at times not clear but > > I would like to think you understand my situation. Guest guest
Jack what kind of DIM are you taking and what is the dose. Men get wood in about 2 weeks if your E2 is real high it can take the full 2 weeks. But if your not to high and you take to much then you can go down so fast you will miss the morning wood now morning wood does not mean you have it first thing in the morning when you wake. It is the wood you get all night long some don't have it when they wake. But when you get it and your E2 is in the Zone it will be so hard it wakes you up. jack <myhormonez@...> wrote: Guys please forgive me for posting so much and at times not clear but I would like to think you understand my situation. Second question I take calcium 1500w/vitaminD so does that interact because I am getting unusally letergic,no motivation, emotionally weemp like lady feel like crying for no apperent reason I remember reading some post like that so how should I handle it untill next appointment or do I have to emergency. Guest guest
Hi be careful with DIM there is a lot of junk out there and if someone needs to take 10 pills this is junk. I have found this to work for me when I was on it. http://www.ritecare.com/prodsheets/PHY-15336.html I stated at one tablet at dinner time my E2 was all ready down in the Zone when I started on it using Arimidex. At the time I switched to the Indolplex/DIM because Arimidex was to strong and I was going to low on it. Just taking .25 mgs 1 time a week I was going to low. On the DIM I ended up doing dam good on just one half a tablet at dinner them and to help my liver wash out the E's I took some TMG at bed time. http://www.myvitanet.com/tmgtr75120ca.html This is good stuff because it also turns into some SamE and helps you sleep. david a hallgarth <dhallgar@...> wrote: Yo, thanks for explaining what DIM does do, I feel that way too about DIM converting estrogen to all good estrogen, and have set out on a journey to only use DIM, I may have to take ten pills a day, but DIM I think is the healthy way to go. Guest guest
Influencing estrogen metabolism is part of the issue. The conversion of Testosterone to Estrogen via the aromatase enzyme is another. I recommend a look at primordialperformance.com and their Dermacrine Sustain product. They have posted a TON of references and sound explanations (based on my knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pharmacology). We in the United States of Estrogen are highly influenced by greedy people that want to sell us stimulants of all sorts, to make a profit. If we all ate healthy raw (or cooked if necessary) whole foods, used only natural soaps, shampoos, etc., we'd be healthier, but the wealthy would lament their newfound poverty. I've recently been learning about " xeno-estrogens " (xeno means foreign). Garbage like plastics and stuff put in packaging and shampoos, and lotions, etc., that act like estrogens in the body. That along with artificial sweeteners and processed foods, heck no wonder more people get hypogonadal, burned out adrenals, and obese!!!! For money, people have twisted what God has provided for us......and we buy this crap!!!! Stepping down from the pulpit now..... Google.com and certain discussion boards have helped me immensely. If I relied on advertising and " doctors " to tell me how to live, I'd be dead already. Guest guest
Jack, Check message #47411. Phil gave a summary of using Arimidex to lower E2 here: if you're at 40-50 pg/mL estradiol, use .25 mg every day till night time & morning wood returns. Keep using at this rate till the morning wood stops, then reduce to .25 mg every 4 days. He said his most recent Arimidex protocol was .25 mg every 2-3 days. ~Xian > > I am a long time lurker and sometime poster. Guest guest
Sorry, Jack, I didn't pay attention. Phil's recommendation for Arimidex in this group used wood as the main visible indication for optimal level. On another site where he contributes (http://forum.mesomorphosis.com/mens-health-forum/low-estradiol-symptoms-1342622\ 88.html), the forum discussed other symptoms of low estradiol: depression, low libido, low energy, & others which overlap with high estradiol. One symptom unique to low E2 vs. high E2 is joint pain/bone injuries. Life extension reported that men below 15 pg/mL estradiol have more hip fractures than men with higher estradiol, & men who lack the ability to convert testosterone to estradiol ( & inevitably have low estradiol) also have similar bone problems. In contrast, one visible manifestation of high estradiol is bloating. When assessing personal estradiol results, lab reports are essential. Don't let symptoms substitute for blood tests as a dipstick for estradiol. ~Xian > > > > > > I am a long time lurker and sometime poster.
