High prolactin will cause a low T count. He should check with his doctor to

make sure there is not a tumor in his pituitary. If not, they can prescribe

Bromocriptine (Parlodel) or Dostinex. But, as I have been learning, you need to

deal with the prolactin before you can properly address the T.

24!!! I have to ask: is that " serum testosterone " ? are the units in

ng/dL or ng/L?

A common cause of low T is a pituitary tumor called a prolcatinoma

they are generally not serious and easily treated with medicine. They

cause high prolactin levels and reduce testosterone production.

He said its DH- which I take as DHT, dihydrotestosterone.
