Reversing penile atrophy with androgel

Based on what I have read online, DHT is necessary for maitence of penile size

and

sensitivity. If one has atrophy, would putting androgel on the penis increase

DHT levels, and

reverse the atrophy and reduced sensation. I realise a few people also have said

that putting

androgel on the penis can cause a buring sensation. I for one would be willing

to put up with

it if I restore my penis to what it once was.

Any thoughts?
