Guest guest
I went to my PCP yesterday and approached him for the second time about trying testosterone injections instead of Testim to try and get my symptoms under control, especially the fatigue and muscle pain. He still wants the endo to make that call and said he would check with him. I explained that he probably wouldn't go for it since it seems he is treating my numbers instead of my symptoms. Also asked him if any of his other patients on TRT complained of testicles getting smaller and he said he has. Then I explained that when I mentioned that to the endo his reply was " that doesn't happen with TRT " and pretty much said it was all in my head. PCP didn't comment on that but said he would call the endo about injections. Got a call today from the Dr. office and the endo was receptive to testosterone injections, much to my surprise. He then went on to say that the regiment would be 200 mg every 3 weeks…that just doesn't sound reasonable to me and I don't know if it's worth going to the appointment or just moving on. I really don't think it's worth the trip but not sure what to do. Suggestions?
