10g Androgel...feel great? Should I stop?

Hello to all. Off and on 5g gel for 2 years and now back on 10g after

the yo-yo effect. I feel really good (on the 10's for 5 weeks.) My

endo wants to meet again in February. I'm 38 and the wife would like

to have more kids and I would like that as well. I would not like

that if it meant feeling like crap again. I'm secondary and the

condition is " ideopathic. " (been down the full blood test, mri, bone

density scan, cortisol check road.)

Question is, is there a way to get the boys to function again while

keeping the t up? I've heard of people using hgh, gnrh, clomid etc.

Any thoughts? I'll be happy with the 2 kids I have if it means I have

to throw myself back in the shitter again...even for a few months.

Thanks, Dave

Dave, take a look at HCG. Run a search through the archives here. I

am in the same boat as you. I would like to keep my fertility, but

exogeneous Test will shut you down. Granted there is a good chance

you can restart even when on Test. Arnold had kids after his huge

run of roids (and a lot of bodybuilder do). However, there is a risk

of permanent shut down. HCG mimics LH which " tells " the boys to

produce test. So your boys will remain active. There is a chance

that you may need to run a course of HMG which is FSH that will

further activates the boys. So, your best bet it to include some

HCG. If you do run only Test, you will need to restart the boys

through a run of HCG and/or Clomid. Many of the bodybuilding sites

will help you as bodybuilders have been doing this forever (check out

elitefitness.com or testosterone.net or steroidology.com).

Probably your best bet is to see a fertility specialist and check on

your current fertility. If you are still fertile, freeze some sperm

in case you become permanently shut down.

Good Luck!

Get off the androgel and try hcg if you are secondary.

Your only hope to get off the stuff without feeling like killing...

(yourself or others), is to take HCG. This is the only thing

powerful enough to get your testicles moving again. I recommend

starting on HCG for about a month, while continuing your current

testosterone regime, and slowing it down as time passes. Ideally,

you take testosterone one morning, HCG that night, no testosterone

the next day, then HCG again that night. HCG 3 times a week,

testosterone about 3 times as well. Start out with 1000 Units (1 cc)

of HCG 3 times a week, for 3 weeks, then go to 500 Units (1/2 cc) 3

times a week. Then get off the testosterone completely for a while.

If your hypo is secondary, you should be able to function fairly

well on just HCG alone.

If you want the quickest kick and growth of your natural production,

quit the testosterone cold turkey and take HCG 5 times a week,

monday to friday, 500 units at night before bed. (1/2 cc). Make sure

you use small insulin needles (29 guage) and inject on the top of

your thigh. This is the Shippen HCG stimulation test.

After a month, go on the 3 times a week HCG injection, a max of 500

units each injection. The more you inject at this point, the more

likely the testoterone production will convert to estradiol. That is

the one thing that keeps this sytem from being the ultimate

solution. But it will make your testicles increase in size and it

will get your body doing what it should be doing.

Clomid will NOT help fertility and shouldn't be considered as

treatment alone. It might help though, if it is covered by

insurance, to add Clomid to the mix a month or two down the road

just to help with natural production because clomid stimulates the

hypothalamus which makes LH and FSH.

You will also probably want to take FSH which should help increase

sperm production.

Of course, there are doctors in every city that specialise in

fertility. Unfortunately, most of them don't seem to specialize in

hypogonadism, but they will probably be able to help you get going

again. The formula above would work though.'

Cheers,

Armyguy
