Guest guest
Colli, Taking prednisone (synthetic corticosteroid) has been shown to induce hypo even with small doses in some men. So I'm sure cushings could be a cause. Guest guest
Hi bigcolli, I have been on testosterone implants for the last 2 years as I have a low testosterone problem due to hypogonadism. For a auto-imune disease I had to take 40mg per day of prednisone . " synthetic cortisoid " What happened was due to the higher cortisol , my testosterone levels dropped a lot lower even though I was using supplements. orcman3001 > > Since cortisol is the fight or flight hormone and prevents certain > > organs in the body from working since the body is in survival mode, > > would a cortisol related disorder such as cushing's syndrome cause > > hypogonadism by suppressing testicular and pituitary function?
