Guest guest
Welcome Kru Heller and all the other new members who have joined us as a result of the 48 Hours program on toxic molds. I am glad you were able to find someone nearby to come in and take samples of your mold. One thing the program really didn't make clear is that there is a big difference between molds that produce mycotoxins - and those that don't. Also, I can't recall anyone on this list or the over 400 people I have personally talked with ever mentioning having an " allergic " reaction. What they have said is that they have experienced nose bleeds, headaches, earaches, flu-like symptoms and fatigue at the onset of exposure. Only a very few people have mentioned rashes or redness and itching. Many people have mentioned developing CFS, FMS, MCS and problems clotting and/or healing. They have been cultured from the lungs of several people but as for them actually " growing " in people, I have never heard this. Many people have mentioned developing mold sensitivity, tingling lips, swelling tongue and other symptoms when coming in contact with mold. I suppose your own level of sensitivity is what determines how you will react after you clean up the mold. Some people have to get rid of many personal and household items - while others are not as easily affected. Barbara
