I have never gotten an e mail from this group. In your

preferences for this group, you can check that you want to read the

messages on this website only. That way you can read in

privacy and also when you are done you can delete the files and

cookies for that matter.

Here you go - The instructions I forward to confused souls on the

I own/moderate:

1) Go to group homepage at:

/

2) Click on SIGN IN in plain text blue or purple lettering near top

right of page

3) Fill in your Screen Name & Password in box that pops up

4) You will be returned to HomePage

5) Click on " EDIT MY MEMBERSHIP " at upper right of page.

6) Now scroll down new page past *Profile* and *Email Address*

options (do NOT click on links that read (Add new profile) and (add

new email address)

7) Under *Message Delivery* Check " NO EMAIL "

8) Under *Message Format* Check " Do not convert to HTML "

9) Click Grey Box below *Save Changes*

Now you will be returned to home page.

In left hand column of HomePage is a list of options:

You can read MESSAGES by clicking on " MESSAGES " in left hand column

and clicking on Subject Heading of message you want to read.

(Sometimes an advertisement will appear first; just click on the

words continue to message)

When you have finished reading an individual message use your

backwards arrow to return to the message board.(Do not Click on X in

upper right)

You can WRITE MESSAGES at the homepage by Clicking on " POST " in left

hand column to send a message to the group. (You can delete your own

messages at any time, but not anyone else's messages. When you open a

message you have posted, you may delete it by clicking " delete "

above left of your message in plain blue type)

Also you can Click on *PHOTOS* or *FILES* in left hand column to

look at or download existing pictures and files or to add your own.)

When you sign off and then return to homepage

you must SIGN IN by clicking the " SIGN IN " link at top right of page

in blue or purple plain non-bold type. You fill in your name

and password and will be returned to homepage. Now you can read

messages, post messages, post or view photos or files, all by

clicking on options in left hand column. (You must sign in at top

right to have access to these options.)

You can read and write messages at the group homepage regardless of

the mail delivery option you choose. You can also access this group

from any computer anywhere with an internet connection.

To UNSUBSCRIBE - click on the [ Leave Group ] option at top of right

hand column.

Not to make you paranoid, but if your employer really wants to they

can see what you've been looking at on your PC anyway. But it is

probably a bit more secure to go through the website than through email.
