This is a good subject. Hows does one travel with hcG. With all the

new security. what do you need to have on you to show that the

needles are necessary?

Bob,

If syringes are in stowed baggage there's no problem. Assuming bags aren't

lost.

I prefer to have all medical supplies in my carry-on baggage, because it would

be a royal pain to replace them if lost. Unless you have a specific note from

your doctor, syringes are prohibited as carry-on items, and will be irrevocably

confiscated at security checkpoints.

From: https://www.travizon.com/articles/newsecurity.htm

" Customers who require the use of hypodermic needles for medical reasons

(for example, diabetics and customers with allergies), will be asked for proof

of medical need. "

I travel with it all the time. Airport security has never given me a

problem about it. I fill one or more syringes with my dosage and put it

in a freezer/travel pack. That keeps it cold for about 12 hours. Then

I have to find a refrigerator to keep it in until my next shot. I'm not

sure how long it can go without refrigeration before it starts to go

bad.

You should bring your prescription (current original, not a copy) with

you in case they ask.

I've even brought the big needle (10 cc) with me and no one's ever

questioned it. I sometimes bring the big needle and a fresh 10,000 IU

kit, just as a back up.
