Guest guest
Larry, I apply Androgel to my inner thighs and penis. This got me over the absorption problem. Shoulders/arms did nothing for me. Apply in the AM and you should have not problem showering off at night before bed. This should not affect absorption, which nearly all takes place in the first 4 hours. Guest guest
The androgel instructions say to store at 68 - 77 degress F. Perhaps you could have an injection before a trip and resume androgel treatment when you are back home. Guest guest
Larry, I've always applied to my shaved inner thighs and abdomen. I'm unmarried so transfer to female partner is non issue. I'm on 10 G/dy and Brad suggest over a year ago that men on 10 G dy consider splitting into two 5 G doses....I do that. I swab application area in even with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Works great for me... OR eon Andrgel application Well, just after a few days of using the Androderm patch, I'm starting to have my doubts about using it long term. This is mainly because it seems to have adhesion issues. Now I'm thinking about asking my doctor about a prescription for Androgel. I know that the instructions say to apply it to either your upper arms or to your abdomen. Since I'm married, and I like to sleep without a shirt, I have concerns about transferring the testosterone to my wife inadvertently during the night if we should happen to sleep touching each other. Has anyone found if it's possible to apply the gel to your upper thighs or to the buttocks with effective results? This application would work better for me since I wear shorts to bed. Another question I have is does the gel have to be stored around room temperature like the patch? As I stated in my previous message, I like to go camping (during the middle of summer and winter) where it won't always be convenient to store something at or near " room temperature. " Any input would be greatly appreciated. Also, any other comments on the gel (pros and cons) would be great. Hopefully, if we're lucky, they'll come out with something that's a little more user friendly before too long. ....Larry
