How high is too high?

Three weeks is definitely too long. I'd suggest (from what I've seen

here) 100 mg every week. if hematocrit is still to high consider

donating blood, every couple of weeks or monthly.

You can donate blood at Red Cross every 56 days and that will help your

numbers stay down. I, myself, split my T doses differently. I take a much

smaller dose, but I inject every 5 days. I use 0.5 ml every 5 days, which

works out to an average of 0.1 ml each day. I had a specialist in a big

city hospital tell me more frequent injections didn't hurt (except the

butt), as long as I didn't go over my monthly calculated dose in a 30 day

period. I have much smaller peaks and valleys this way.

Just my experience.

Elevated Red Blood Cell Count

I've been on t therapy about 18 month's now and all of a sudden my

red bloood cell count is way up.The doc wants to cut back to 200ml

every three weeks which I'm not to happy about.Previously getting

injections every 10 to 14 days which worked well.Three weeks is too

long muscles ache, low sex drive ,soft or no erections, fuzzy thinking

etc.etc. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Every 3 weeks is too long to wait.

Hopefully, there is another way to address your high blood cell

count. I don't have any expertise in that area.

,

Another way to go about it is to use sub q injections (27.5 Guage

1/2 inch needle) in the stomach fat area instead of in the butt.

Less of a pain... in the butt.
