Acetyl-L-Carnitine & Alpha Lipoic Acid Therapy

I wanted to try and see if this made any difference but the cost seems

a problem.

Does anyone how it may be obtained at a reasonable price in the UK, as

obtaining from the US doesn't seem viable and UK stores only sell it

in very small amounts for quite high prices by the look of it.

I'm interested in it given it is supposed to help detoxify the liver

and I have a history of liver problems.
