Update on andactim gel purchase and use (long one here)

Some time ago, i posted a message here on Adractim gel. This gel is

DHT(Androstanolone 2.5% g). It is produced by the same company that

manufactures Androgel. Androgel is made in france and

sold/distributed by Unimed.

I recieved a tube about the size of a regular tube of toothpaste

along with a plastic dosing guage and the usual literature contained

in a prescriptoin. The only thing here is the literature was in

french and German.

The dosing guage is a piece of plastic with two indented cavities

about two inches long. when dispensed in to the cavities on the

guage, each cavity has 1.25 gm of product.

I could not wait to try the stuff, so i used the Andractim instead

of my usual androgel. My key objective for seeking this mediation

is that DHT is a much more potent androgen, and secondly it does not

aromatize.

It did not take long for me to feel the difference, and this stuff

is far better for promoting erections than just plain T. The ED has

greatly improved since starting TRT, but this stuff is a total notch

above andogel in that respect.

also the dht gel kind of felt like a bit of a long acting pep pill.

energy up, mood positive with out the mood changes (i attribute to

levels of E incrasing), prostate acutally felt better(been

suspicious for some time that my increased E has been iritating my

prostate-my endo thought this idea was bunk) more assertive during

the day, and usuall breast tenderness and swelling seems to be

diminishing.

Thus far it is all good !!!!

The europeans have something here. The product cost me less than my

co pay on my androgel. Dispensing the product like this gel saves a

lot of money that can be used to purchase testosterone dht and not

packaging. Think of it this way, if you were to buy a pint of

catchup the necessary condiment packets required to eqaul one pint

would cost significantly more than a plain pint of catchup.

it is simple, the stuff has no smell except at first when you put it

on, and it absorbs better than androgel without the irritating

alcholol that androgel has in it.

I think this one is a winner guys. We in the US should demand that

this product be made availble to us in the same packaging and dosing

format.

Thanks! So, this is great news and your initial reactions to it are

indeed very promising! This then begs the obvious question - how

does one get this stuff in the US now?

The Unimed folks do report that it is in Phase 3 trials now, so it

is " in the works " for release in the US. My fear (?) is that

availibility won't be the issue - it'll be whether our MDs will

prescribe it for us. I'll wager the dark shadow of BPH, etc. will

prevent many MDs from agreeing to try it.
