Guest guest
Julles, Sounds like you are making progress but I am not sure you will see what you are entirely hoping for with Clomid. If you don't already have significant beard growth i do not think Clomid will increase it much. Your levels of 621 ng/dl (6.21 ng/ml) is pretty good and may get better with Clomid but that is only assumign your HPTA can match the dosing you were using of hCG. I think you should certianly be takng zinc. Also, you did not mention your Estradiol levels. What are these? Also, what were your pre hCH levels? Your doctor is a bright and unusual doctor to mention to you the potential to lessen depression with increased T. From what I have read from our brothers here, that is a rare comment from a doctor. Clomid never adversely effected my mood. y > Hi, > > I'm 28 years old guy with secondary hypogonadism. When diagnosed I > was low on T, LH and FSH. Guest guest
Also, I have lost some fat with my increased T levels and added about 10 lbs of lean muscle of which I am quite pleased. I work out and try to stay in shape but with my new T, I have seen a big difference. If you can begin, I woudl suggest exercising and maybe even workign out as your T levels increase. Every little bit helps. You mention you are obese. Iv'e been there brother. 2.5 years ago I was 320lbs. I finally had had enough and lost 145 lbs in about 14 months getting down to 175. I now am a leaner 195. Anything you can do to get started is a positive. Good luck. IM me if you need encouragement. y > Hi, > > I'm 28 years old guy with secondary hypogonadism. Guest guest
Thanks for your posts y, 1.It's hard to say if my beard progress is significant…Previously I didn't keep an eye so much on it. Now after 5 shots of HCG that I had been given 3 months ago I feel something has changed. Maybe it just needs to take more time…? My dad is not hairy so I do not expect to look like an animal, but I need something to improve my ego… 2.My estradiol level was 10.10 pg/mL before the treatment (N: 13.5- 59.5). During the treatment my endo did not mention to test it. Maybe other results were ok and he had decided there was no need? I don't understand these issues with estradiol; I will search the group for that. 3.How much zinc shall I take daily? 4.My endo is very bright, indeed. He is concerned not to do any harm, wants to start me naturally and I like it…However I wonder if progress is strong enough…In fact this disease affected my life very badly and I expect something better now. I hope I'm not daydreaming – I'm trying to learn as much as I can to avoid disappointment. Thanks for your help again, julles > > Hi, > > > > I'm 28 years old guy with secondary hypogonadism. I do 1000 units of HCG three times a week now four weeks now and cannot tell any difference, I have been told HCG can take three to six month to any effect but who knows? Also, consider yourself lucky to have low estrogen, as this is a big pain in the you know what to most of us. best wishes norton
