I had a problem with burping and indigestion problems that sent me

for a hospital stay and colonoscopy. The results showed irritation

to my small intestine. They wanted to put me on asacol but I

refused and sought alternative measures.

My question to those who suffer from some form or heart

burn/indigestion and such....was there antibiotic use prior to the

start up of your symptoms? I was on a broad spectrum one before my

troubles started.... I have had health issues ever since (started

5 years ago)...but am finally seeing some light at the end of the

tunnel...thanks to my own persistance..not the doctors (what else is

new?)..sorry docs... ps...using oil of oregano does help me

too...kills the parasites.

> There has been a flurry of emails lately on digestion,

particularly problems with chronic burping. I've been trying some

of your suggestions to ease my chronic burping and upper abdominal

pain (see my earlier emails).

> Stomach Pull-down technique: At first this seemed to really help,

but then the symptoms returned. Even so, it feels good to do this,

so I will probably continue this for a while longer. Last week, I

went to an holistic osteopathic doctor. She did some type of

technique where she place one hand on various places of my abdomen

and the other hand on my spine. I think she may have been feeling

the pulse of the cerbrospinal fluid. Anyway, she told me that it is

my stomach that is definitely unhappy; the other organs were OK.

She could not sense a hiatal hernia or a stomach " up too high " .

help, but after a few days, my burping actually got a lot, lot worse!

diagnosis. I don't know of anyone skilled in synchronmeter use and

am thinking the QXCI machine might be a good substitute. Anyone try

this machine?
