Now that would depend on if you were asking for a male's interpretation of

what is a " normal " libido level, or, if you were asking his wife! I apologize

for injecting that bit of humor to the board, but it was too much of an

opportunity to pass up! Seriously, I too would like to see what is described

as

being normal or average for the different age groups of both males and

females given all their respective hormone levels being within what the doctors

call normal ranges. Unfortunately, I believe that the vast majority of men are

reluctant to be totally honest about the subject due to being afraid of how

they might be looked upon by peers. I think we can all agree that our libido

levels at age 45 isn't what it was at age 25. However, how much of a

reduction can be expected if all your hormone levels are within the normal

ranges?

In my own case, when my libido fell to near zero I knew that there had to be

something wrong. Blood tests confirmed that I was below range on

testosterone. At this point, I'm too early into my TRT to tell how effective

that it's

going to be.

I'm new to this post but enjoying learning here, thanks to all.

It's all subjective. How horny are you and how often? If you think once a

week is normal to have desire, and you only have it once every two weeks,

you're low. If you think one a year is normal and you want it once a week,

it's high.

There's probably some study on the web if you Google for it to show what the

average or " normal " person for your age group feels in terms of frequency of

desiring sex. That might add a little more objectivity to it.

I used to want it two or three times per week...lately it's two or three

times per day..I'd say I'm a bit high right now. :)

For me libido was a euphemism. I told my doc that I had low

libido. I was much to ashamed to say my dick stopped working. As

an aside, I've been on T for 1 ½ years and I still for some psyco-

socio- reason still talk around the subject.
